That hole at the end needs a rivet like the fasteners
Nah, that's to run a lace through so I can lash the end of the holster to my leg so it's not bouncing around and banging against my leg when I'm riding.
I just made some 12g wax slugs... and I have to wait a week to shoot them.
Organising a shoot with friends for the start of my 21st then were gonna get tanked at the local afterwards.
Organising a shoot with friends for the start of my 21st then were gonna get tanked at the local afterwards.
What country and/or territory/state? I could be one of your new best friends :v:
Contemplating asking my dad to take me to the gun show going on at the Tucson conference center. Not only am I looking for a cleaning rod for my makarov, but I'm going try my hardest to scratch a few dollars off the regular price for a CZ 455. Edit: Nevermind. He actually asked me if I wanted to go
How exactly do the waiting periods work at gun shows?
How exactly do the waiting periods work at gun shows?
Only a couple states have waiting periods. New York and California. I think maybe New Jersey and Massachusetts does, as well.
Illinois has 24 hours for long guns and 72 for handguns. What exactly do I do if I go buy a gun at the show on the last day?
Is their any waiting period in Arizona?
Is their any waiting period in Arizona?
nope
There's always a waiting period for handguns isn't there? Its federally set at 3 days iirc
There's always a waiting period for handguns isn't there? Its federally set at 3 days iirc
Nope. There's no waiting period in Minnesota, it's all set by state.
No wait here as far as I'm aware. I got all my handguns through private sales though so there may be one that I just haven't had to deal with
Just got my Saiga Conversion. [img_thumb]http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/8787/photo1bee.jpg[/img_thumb] And my sis just got her AR-15. [img_thumb]http://img259.imageshack.us/img259/4731/photo2tm.jpg[/img_thumb] We are both happy with what we got.

Who says we all chip in and say we buy a Hispano-Suiza? I mean, it's the same price as a M82! http://cannonsuperstore.com/hispanosuiza.html
I want to move to Vermont. I didn't realize alongside having no gun laws they also allowed open carry :v:
I want to move to Vermont. I didn't realize alongside having no gun laws they also allowed open carry :v:
IIRC, what's referred to as "Constitutional Carry" was once called "Vermont Carry"... doesn't hurt that the country is beautiful up there too.
Went shooting for my birthday, firing slugs and buckshot out of an 870 was the first time in years my shoulder has hurt firing a gun, had an absolute blast.
Is their any waiting period in Arizona?
pffffthphahaahahaaaaa... Hell no brother come get your guns!
I really want to get a Saiga 12 gauge. It just looks like a lot of fun to shoot. Also, my brother just got a Mosin Nagant, and met me out at the range while i was shooting my Springfield XD ( I hate that i have to type out a horrible smiley face for the name...) I can definitely say, i know why Mosin's are so popular. That thing was a blast to shoot...and if you don't feel like a complete badass working the bolt, you may be dead.
Went shooting for my birthday, firing slugs and buckshot out of an 870 was the first time in years my shoulder has hurt firing a gun, had an absolute blast.
Last time I really felt shoulder pain from a gun was when I was sighting in the new scope for my remington 700. I sent a good 120 rounds of .270 Winchester through it before I was satisfied.
IIRC, what's referred to as "Constitutional Carry" was once called "Vermont Carry"... doesn't hurt that the country is beautiful up there too.
Besides, EVERYONE in Vermont is really nice. It's weird.

[editline]20th May 2012[/editline] My grandfather actually made a wooden toy-rifle for me when I was little, bought one of those locks at a hardware store and slapped it on the side. Good times.
I found a picture in an old family photo album of a rifle my great-grandfather made in the 50's or 60's, it looks pretty sweet. It's a bullpup bolt action, weren't those pretty rare back then?
