Went to the local pawn shop today looking for deals
1943 Mosin Nagant labeled simply as 'WWII battle rifle Russian', priced at 350$
Kid no more than 18 fondling it.
HE BUYS IT
The store owner (who was stocking shelves) was grinning from ear to ear.
I know where I'm not going anymore :|
Ya know I have seen that at my local gun store where mosins are selling for 200+. Ironically the M44's there are selling for 150 to 180ish. I almost considered a Steyr m95 for 100 bucks till I saw ammo priced at 2 dollars a round.
Is it me or are 9mm Glock Sub2000s hard to come by? I've had an order out for about 2 months and not a single word. Am I better off finding one at a gunshow at this rate?

I laughed so hard at this picture I uploaded it to my FB.
Why do you even want one?
I first have to ask, does it really matter why I want one? Your comment seems a bit inflammatory to me.
I just don't see why you would want to get it
Any reasons you want it?
I dont see why you would get a deactivated nugget
Any reason you got one?
I just don't see why you would want to get it

I'll just answer your question regardless. It appears to me like a fun range gun that takes a common and relatively cheap cartridge. As well as the fact it could take 33 round Glock magazines. Folding up and the lifetime warranty are both nice bonuses. Hell, Timebomb has one and he seems to like it. Are you satisfied?
It's keltec
It's like paying $500 for a bubba'd nugget and have me yell at you for buying it!
kel-tec isn't all bad
most of it is bad but the sub is pretty nice actually
Nah, it's a tiny little rifle you can fold and then deploy pretending you are Mass Effect or something.
If it's his money and wants a range toy, why not? He's not even ruining a historical rifle or anything.

My 1992 Escort station wagon would like to have a word with you. That thing is indestructible.

That's your opinion. I just want to get a fun range gun. Are you going to answer my original question or not?
because my inner economist hates to see people waste money.
I'm pretty sure a concept of economics is the fact that utility is derived on a subjective basis. What works for you doesn't always work for someone else. I'm fulfilling my own utility, not yours.
my dad has a 1985 ford country squire he still uses to this day :v
Don't come crying to me when 9mm falls to the ground before hitting the target at 10 yards, though!
Perhaps we've been watching the gun under the wrong light then. Maybe... maybe it's supposed to work like that.
IMAGINE! Your enemy is behind a wall of some sort, thinking he's safe because your 9mm rounds can't pierce it. You then aim over the wall and BULLET DROP, SHITHEAD!
They'll never see it coming.

The Glock will cost the same, if not more than a Sub2k, and to put a stock on it means more money and 6 months wait, if your state even allows them.

All of this assuming he is American.
All of this assuming he is American.
Which reminds me, what the hell happened to Flagdog? That thing was so useful, why did they remove it?
I will say though. If you want a pistol caliber rifle then you could try and look for a camp carbine... that might not cause such a flame war here.
Ask for help/advice, Prusselusken bashes you and forces you to buy a nugget

Do those go any cheaper than the $500-600 I see on gunbroker?
Still have my heart pretty set on the Sub2k, I've been eyeing it for quite a while.

Unfortunately... no. IIRCC they were discontinued by the manufacturer. There are other Pistol Caliber Rifles... but none that I know of as inexpensive as the Kel Tec.
Rail should be greyer, but looks better than most you find on AK-patterns
Pre-installed side rail is pretty okay to have
Pistol grip shouldn't have that many identical finger grooves, but looks good
Front sight+gas block combo looks pretty odd
Flash hider looks weird
Mags could be prettier
Mag is a normal milspec mag...
Don't be so picky about the finger grooves. I like the slide stock I might make one for mine.
