Just ordered my M1A and a Romanian AK-47, can't wait for them to get here so I can go and take them to the range.
So I tried drifting the front sight on my 91/30 tonight, since it was shooting way to the left. Guess how much I got the thing to move? Not one bit.

Are you going to get an SSAK stock for the AK-MV? When I was taking my Mosin apart to clean it the instructions said to drift the front sight out of the bracket entirely so I could remove the hand guard rings. Not only could I not get the goddamn thing to move a single micrometer but when I fired the gun the next day I hadn't fucked the aim up at all.
What's a nice "tactical" stock for a Ruger 10/22?
Even though cans are banned here should I try to get a threaded P99?
I'm going to keep it stock for now (No pun intended). I might buy one of those kits in the future. I was only planning on buying the M1A, but classic fire arms had this deal http://www.classicfirearms.com/product-specials/romanian-wasr10 and I couldn't pass that up.
What is this "sight drifting" you speak of?
It's when you hit the sight with something until it comes out of it's mount. Fuck if I know why it's called 'drifting' I just know that's what it's called. [editline]27th May 2012[/editline]
I'm going to keep it stock for now (No pun intended). I wish so much I had the money to spend on that. You're making me ultra jealous bro.
What is this "sight drifting" you speak of?
Taking a hammer and a pin punch to the front sight until it moves.
My M44's front sight was easy to move. I used a hammer and a small piece of dowel.
So, I got home tonight and saw all the discussion about Blackhawks... which made me laugh, cause guess what came home today? :v: [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/uSKwh.jpg[/img_thumb][img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/W5kfD.jpg[/img_thumb] .45 Long Colt / .45 ACP. Awesome gun, put twelve rounds down range tonight before it started to rain.
Oh God that's nice [editline]27th May 2012[/editline] Single action, right?
Oh God that's nice [editline]27th May 2012[/editline] Single action, right?
Yep, so far as I know all Blackhawks are.
IwantIwantIwant, I hate being 19 :v:
classic arms use to have a page on K98ks. Now that they go their new site, they're nowhere to be found. Sucks because i was going to get one of those for my first gun :(
Something I would love to see: A mosin-esque revolver rifle chambered in 7.62x54
I start to think of the American Krag, but re-inforced with another locking lug, and modified for the 7.62x54R. This seems to me so far, to be the only worthwhile purpose of the American Krag, but I like it :v:

I don't get it, on the left is a brick and on the right is the queen from Aliens?
Ok, right now I'm trying to decide whether I want a Ruger 10/22 or a Henry .22 lever-action. Right now I'm leaning towards the Henry because lever-action is cool.

Really it's up to you as far as what you want out of it (semi auto or lever) and how much you want to pay. Henry is a bit more expensive than the 10/22.
Get the henry.
I'm bored of ARs, it seems. A few weeks ago my AR was pimped out and tac-tacular. But I've sold off most of the accessories, and it just sits unused now. My M1A is more accurate, and my M1 carbine is more fun. The AR falls somewhere inbetween, doing neither as well. I might end up selling it to a buddy of mine...
He might have sold that stuff.
What, no PMAGs Ridge?
All this .308 ammo in the battlepack is for hunting werewolves, apparently...
