You know you do get pretty aggressive with everyone. You kind of bring all the negative attention to yourself.

Firearms VI - Nuggets and Drama

Thank you. You're a cool guy when you're not having a shitfit. I'd like to see more of that guy.
Firearms VI - come talk about guns then get bashed because they are not nuggets and they shoot.
Thank you. You're a cool guy when you're not having a shitfit. I'd like to see more of that guy.
It's not that he is a bad person... he just words things in a bad way.
Let's have a chat where their is no discrimination. I have a dream! Where everyone can own whatever gun they want and modify it to their taste no matter if it is wrong or right. A dream where the tapco magazine doesn't sit at the back of the bus or have to be recycled in a different bin because it is plastic... Ok speech over.
I beleive MLK said something similar to that. Give or take a few words...

children there was once a place in the great land of facepunch that was plagued with conflict. That province was called the Firearms forum. The land was once a wonderful and peaceful place, warriors of various clans could meet up and discuss their love for weapons. The types of weapons didn't matter, as long as it could go pew pew and spit fiery hot led it kept everyone happy. That peace did not last, as more clansmen came to the peaceful land of firearms and with their extreme egos and personal tastes that they shoved down others throats began the great battle called flamewar. The once peaceful land erupted in full scale conflict as other clansmen joined in on the bloodshed. A lot of idiotic shit happened and left many with butthurt wounds. Not many survived. The land at times comes to truces after witnessing horrific bloodshed (from butts) and the land again is walking on the fragile peace which could collapse at any time thus throwing the firearms discussion in to conflict yet again.
That children is how firearms VI war started and our land was plagued butthurtness and full-scale retardation.
Maybe one day we will have peace like in the old days....one day...

My dying wish.
I cant wait for spring break.
me and my family have a beach house in southern oregon that we go to and shoot at targets on the beach from the deck of the house. my dad got two plates of steel welded together, one for just normal shooting and the other is thicker to test the armor piercing rounds my dad apparently has.
buying keltec is like buying ford
you just don't expect it to live up to the price tag
Fords are awesome man.
'89 Falcon Ute represent.
The two dream cars I want to own are a Chevy Corvette and a Ford Aerostar, that and I spend most of my driving in a Ford Escape, so Ford is a pretty good company.
I went to the Chantilly Gunshow today. Very disappointed. It is nothing like it used to be. I only walked away with some .303 and 8mm. I saw two rifles that might have been worth while but the prices were just not right. I thought you went to gunshows to find cheaper prices not higher ones. People want to buy guns though, more than ever if you ask me; and because of it the people selling can ask for any price they want. Shit man, I couldn't even find cheap Mosins, the lowest I got was $109.99 (hear me out) and there once was a time I could find tables full of them for $89. Well in the end I got 210 rounds of 8mm for $66, and 40 rounds of .303 for $30. I might go back tomorrow for the final day and get some more .303 because $15 is cheaper than it normally is anywhere else. All in all the show has been very hit and miss the last few times I've gone. I even went the first night it was open to try and see if there were any deals I could snag before the crowds, but alas nothing.
I dislike newer Fords, they had a lot of problems with their trucks and such. It has really been hit and miss though, I have seen Fords that are awesome and some that are just completely unreliable. I don't follow that whole "Found on Road Dead" "Gay Married Couple" crap. Every company has it's faults, but I will tell you I am a Chevy guy. But I wouldn't mind a '67 Mustang or a '73 Falcon.
1970 f250 EMP proof bromobile reporting in.
Sup norwayguy(s), I think I'm in need of two 12 gauge shells (of whatever) for valentines day. Do I need a license to buy that? :c
Firearms VI - cars are cool too
Someone on Kongsberg should have been fired 50 years ago. Adding that groove to the AG3 bolts.. thousands on equipment to make that groove and solving a non-existent problem? Just slowly letting the charging handle go forwards is so much of a better solution than messing around with the bolt for five minutes.
Slowly letting the charging handle go? That really doesn't work. The charging handle ALONE makes too much noise. People get busted by faraway patrols during exercises by the sound of someone accidentally bumping into it when the gun was loaded.
It's not that hard to use the thumb assist once you start using it on purpose, either.
Bolt carrier
[editline]11th February 2012[/editline]
Roller delayed blowback, so the bolt carrier gets heated up much faster than a piston-based mechanism
Not as fast as direct impingement, though.
I can't remember the bolt carrier of the AG3 getting hot, by quick fire(skarpskyttermerket/marksmanship badge/mark), slow fire (long range) nor full auto.
However, if it does, remember that it doesn't matter. You only use the thumb groves to chamber a round without making much noise. If even your bolt carrier is too hot to be touched, I'm sure the sound of the glorious HK slap wont do much harm to the current situation.
I suppose he wants to decorate them somehow, unless his plan is to simply gift a pair of live shotgun shells.
Do you need a license to buy even spent shells, in Norway?
What about dummy rounds, as in with the bullet but without primer or powder?
But it'd make a nice valentine present for a gunnut girlfriend, wouldn't it.
Imagine, getting a dummy steel core round, polishing the brass and engraving on it something cheesy like "you pierced my heart".

You'd only need a hunters proficiency course proof (bevis for bestått jegerprøve) to be able to buy 12ga due to all the unregistered shotguns.
