Yeah they're legal, but magazines are expensive, the only scope mounting option is horrible and their gas system is kinda finicky. Think they average at $1000 +/- $200 depending on condition.
The AVS was full auto?
Ouch.
I kinda like the look of the SKS' with heatshield, looks p. cool

Shit that much? For that price I'll get a PSL rifle.
My 91/30 cost me $80 and I could probably beat a brown bear to death with it.
Just because it's cheap doesn't mean it's shit quality. A lot of times it means there's a lot of the damn things.
I'm not saying it's shit, dude, I'm just saying that it being cheaper doesn't mean it's a better gun.
That being said though you don't need to spend $80 to beat something to death. Love my Nugget to death but that's far from its best quality :v:
The AVS was full auto?

Even the SVT had its own full-auto variant, the AVT.
However, if Italy's laws didn't require grenade launchers to be cut down and rendered useless, I'd get a Yugo SKS and machine some rifle grenades out of inappropriate objects.

I saw an original AVT-40 for sale once for $7k.
If only I didn't need my car...
machine some rifle grenades out of inappropriate objects.
The only thing I can think of now is "Rifle fired dildo grenades"
Nah, too obvious. I was thinking more about a boxing glove filled with styrofoam, to punch things/people from afar (and then run like hell)

Thousand bucks for an SVT? Shit, I paid $320 AFTER shipping to my door and taxes. Hell, even the sniper variants, and you need a sniper variant to mount a scope, go for $400. The scope, though, for an authentic one, is $750, and a repro is like $350. Hell, I once saw one with a fake scope going for $1200 at a show, dunno if anyone was dumb enough to buy it or not.
Stop flaunting your cheap Canadian guns you bastard
I actually recall seeing this in the 5th grade at my elementary school, but done to a dove. Someone tried to be a sharpshooter, and aimed for the head, but instead blew off it's beak.
Also... We seriously need a Hunting/Fishing Megathread.
We really do need a fishing/hunting megathread,
cause i'm quiet the fisher mannnnn
Goddamn why does Walther make such sexy fucking guns, and why are they so hard to come by and expensive here?

There are shitloads of Walther pistols in the States
And they're generally pretty inexpensive.
Muahahaha! It seems the tables are turned aren't they you sonofabitch :v:
Yeah, new manufacture are generally cheaper stateside, except Chinese, but we get cheap milsurp, everything (except the Nagant rifle & pistol, and the pistol is hard to find) from the war is cheaper here, except the ammo, and the Mosin and 1895 are only $50-$100 more here than in the US.
I find it quite easy to catch five fish on one worm (or was it the same fish five times? Can't really tell.)

what's up with that BMW thing in the background
it's like the owner of the gun just wanted to dickwave all over the place

I was thinking more along the lines of the whole German engineering thing but it could be that too :v:

I'm on a watchlist for viewing the Amazon page now aren't I :v:
if you weren't already on a watchlist, you're doing something wrong

though full auto sks is just asking for an injury of some sort

Why is that? Are they not originally designed for it?
Why is that? Are they not originally designed for it?
not a single SKS came out of the factory in a full-auto configuration
[editline]2nd June 2012[/editline]
well there were a few chinese ones that did but they were heavily modified designs and they were SKSes in name only
[editline]2nd June 2012[/editline]
actually not even in name they were all called type xx
they had the rotating bolt system out of an AK47 crammed into an SKS receiver pretty much. they were all generally terrible.
Learn how to modify the rifle's trigger assembly with simple hand tools, safely test the weapon for proper function and enjoy recreational full-auto fire.
I think I might purchase it just to see what the book is talking about. If I do, I'll post a few scans for either a chuckle or for you guys to muse (argue) over seriously.

Who needs a book to tell you how to slamfire? :v:
I'd fish that way if i cleaned up that poor ol' rifle. I wonder how well hollowpoints would fly underwater.
Not very. That's why you use buckshot.
No no no, you don't even need to hit the fish. Most of the time the concussion wave of the bullet hitting the water will stun them.
Yeah but I still wouldn't use hollowpoints. The water will make them expand and it'll greatly reduce their speed. It's bad enough water slows down bullets to less-than-lethal speeds for humans but the hollowpoint expanding makes it slower.

But it will make a bigger concussion wave in the water and cause more damage to the fish.
