WHY god damn it. The government is stupid as fuck. Instead of DESTROYING confiscated weapons, reconfigure them to be semi automatic only and sell them to the American People. They could be making so much money selling those firearms at warehouse style pricing since they put almost no money into them.
They could even price them at, say, $1500-2000 and make a huge profit, since people would buy them like candy.
I wouldn't pay 2 grand for semi auto anything
You'd hate living in Italy, look at some of the prices and get ready to crap your pants. To be honest, the guys at Nuova Jager are kind of greedy pricks and their stuff can be a lot cheaper if bought used online, even if in good conditions. But still...
Not even an original StG 44?
I put a Knight's Armament forward grip on my break action Savage Arms 20ga. [editline]7th June 2012[/editline] And yes that is electrical tape holding on the wood that the grip is screwed to.
They could even price them at, say, $1500-2000 and make a huge profit, since people would buy them like candy.
Yeah, no. Price them at Warehouse pricing for those weapons. Warehouse pricing for most of the firearms being used by Taliban forces are around $500ish. They'd make a shitload of money. I EVEN think I saw some StG 44's in that pile. If I could get an StG 44 for $750 I'd be happier than a pig in shit
If I could get a StG 44 for 1500 I'd sacrifice lambs all day to the Murdercube. See? It all depends on where you live... [editline]8th June 2012[/editline] And well, in the US they seem to go for 3000-ish. 1500 would still be a great price.
Yeah, no. Price them at Warehouse pricing for those weapons. Warehouse pricing for most of the firearms being used by Taliban forces are around $500ish. Fuck the Whitehouse petition site. It's the biggest load of bullshit I've ever seen. A LOT of good petitions have gotten well over the required amount of signatures, and you know what happens if the government doesn't like it? "Yeah no sorry we don't intend to do this thanks for participating though" and then they close it.
I EVEN think I saw some StG 44's in that pile. If I could get an StG 44 for $750 I'd be happier than a pig in shit
Not sure if sarcasm All the StG's were circled Also, the image is down since Filesmelt dun goof'd, reuploading.
I wasn't sure if those were StGs or MP-38's
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Z7UCJ.jpg[/t] That AK's handguard. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline]
I wasn't sure if those were StGs or MP-38's
I... think you meant MP 44. The MP 38 is quite different.
My baby, first rifle so I kinda went nuts.... And my mossberg 500, got the railed fore-end installed yesterday :) http://mrbrightside.thanez.net/Images/SarahSKS/P2170218.JPG
I... think you meant MP 44. The MP 38 is quite different.
Look at his post. He said "MP-38". [editline]7th June 2012[/editline]
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Z7UCJ.jpg[/t] That AK's handguard. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline]
That wood is beautiful. Holy shit. Is that Cherry?
Look at his post. He said "MP-38".

Also
Other cringe-worthy picks from the pile are Steyrs, Nuggets and I think I see a BAR in there.
Fucks sake. I was actually GOING to create a "We The People" petition concerning those firearms but the stupid website keeps telling me I need to validate my email address before I can create a petition, even though I've validated it FIVE FUCKING TIMES NOW. Piece of shit website. One of you guys make a petition.
[editline]7th June 2012[/editline] And yes that is electrical tape holding on the wood that the grip is screwed to.
Relevant @ :55
I actualy got the idea from that video.
I actualy got the idea from that video.
You got the idea to do something like that from a video of two people complaining specifically about people who do stuff like what you did?
Yea because my gun had no grip on the front and I actualy thought the tape looked good so I cut a piece of wood that would fit and taped it on. Then one of my friends gave me the Knight's Armament grip and I said fuck it put it on too. I don't see what the problem is considering its a 50 year old gun thats been to hell and back and is only worth about $60. So what if I wanted to bubba my gun.

Ok, so I'm making a petition on the whitehouse site but haven't submitted it yet (regarding the destruction of captured weapons). Heres a rough draft of the petitions description, I'm very dyslexic so I probably shouldn't be writing this, anyone want to proof read it or rewrite it for me? "It's my belief and that of many others that rifles and handguns captured in war zones should not be destroyed. Instead, they should be rebuilt to be legal semi-automatic rifles, and refurbished. They can then be sold at warehouse prices for a huge proffit. Many weapons that have been captured are of great historical significance, and would be very valuable to collectors. Instead of reselling them, they're immediately disassembled and destroyed. Instead of destroying them, they should be made legal. This will create jobs by giving gun smiths work refurbishing and re working the rifles and hand guns. We can only win by doing this. " 800 character limit btw.

You should add in there how the profit can go towards helping the economy of our nation or some shit.
I'd sign that petition any day, and I have several other friends who would as well. [editline]8th June 2012[/editline] Be sure to link to it when you're done.
If no one has any other corrections, I'll go ahead and toss it up on the site later tonight when I get home.
We need to get as many signatures on this as possible. A cool thing to do would to be, if anyone here goes to NRA meetings or some shit like that, print out some pictures of what they do to captured guns and then show them to all the gun lovers and get them to sign. Make it spread, damnit!
Gentlemen, lets save some historical weapons https://wwws.whitehouse.gov/petitions/!/petition/no-longer-destroy-captured-weapons-combatants-war-zones-instead-create-jobs-refurbishing-and-selling/c0WbClh3
