Oh if I had the money
It's an MG34 styled upper for ARs.
I'd rather have an MG34 upper on an MG34 lower, to be honest...
Reminds me, what is a "parent case" 'cause I keep finding this term popping up and it quirks the hell out of me. Something about a 'parent case' is a casing that other not-so-very-popular commercial casings are based off of, yet to me that sounds like a total hassle.
A parent case is a round that is based off of another round. An example would be the .40 S&W, it is based of a shortened case of the 10mm Auto. Another example would be the .243 Winchester, which is a .308 brass necked down to accept a .243 bullet.
A more notable example would be the 9mm Parabellum. It it a 7.65×21mm Parabellum necked up to fit a 9mm bullet. This round is commonly known as the 9mm luger, or 9mm NATO.

I think I'm going to get this. Should I or should I not?
Let's see what pruss has to say.

Hotel Stories destroyed my sides entirely. And gave me some nightmares.
Anybody have any experience with the Mossberg New Haven 600AT 12g shotgun? I saw one in a store going for $175 and I'm wondering if it's worth the purchase.

Looks like a Mossberg 500 pump action built for department stores in the 70s and 80s.
This guy says that 500 parts will work on it.
http://thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=486673
600 is just a 500 with dampers in the mag tube iirc. keeps shit from rattling around so much
all parts are interchangeable.
Alright, so this might seem a stupid question to some of you, but they're just so bloody close that I have to ask:
If I have a handgun chambered in 9x19 (common 9mm), can I load the 9x18, or vice versa?
I figure that loading the 9x19 into a 9x18 wouldn't work, but still, I have to ask.

NO
Never put ammo in a gun that is not specifically marked for it.

Alright, second question: Which type of ammunition is cheaper and more plentiful?
The 9x18, the 9x19, or the 7.62x25?
at least around here, 9x19 is cheaper and more plentiful, but I have to say that 7.62x25 is more fun
the difference between 9x19 and 9x18 is margainal in price and performance, something like an extra dollar for a 50 round box of 9x18.
7.62x25 is probably the most fun pistol cartridge I know of, but you're mostly limited to prvi so its like an extra $5 a box.
I'd say the performance difference is worth the price difference, but 7.62x25 will penetrate a lot deeper than 9x19 or 9x18 so keep that in mind if you do decide on 7.62x25
9x18 (9.220mm) is wider than 9x19 (9.017)
So no they aren't interchangable. The Soviets did this purposely so in case of war NATO factions couldn't use captured soviet ammunition. Something they sorta did today after they switched to 9x19. A NATO cartridge, but they overpressurize the shit out of it (+P) and design their handguns to take the extra load both so foreign entities couldn't use it effectively and also so they can use the common 9mm and penetrate body armor with the extra power.

Here in Rockford at least, 9x19 is quite cheap and plentiful, same goes for 9x18, but 7.62x25 can only be found in bulk, and tends to be rickety in terms of price.
also you have .45 colt and .410, but the former is obsolete and the latter is a shitty gimmick that won't kill paper past five metres, so if you get a taurus judge you're a complete nincompoop.
Why is .45 Colt obsolete? Still shoots and kills things dead.
Reminds me of DrMortician and his rants about how .45 ACP was shit just because it was old
Agreed about .410 though.
Yeah .45 is crap and obsolete, even in a Handi-Rifle which I put a nice clean hole in the middle of a target at 40 yards, no not at all it's a terrible round mhhmm.

Buying locally, 9x19 can be found just about everywhere. 9mm Makarov, you might have to go to a gun shop or order online to get it. 7.62x25 will probably have to order online.

You don't buy a judge for practicality, you buy a judge because it's a handgun can shoot shotgun shells.

I'm trying to take out the rear stock to my WASR-10 ak47, but it's jammed in there real good, and I can't seem to get it out. I've tried prying it, pulling on it while it was in a vice, and even trying to hammer it out. Anyone got any suggestions? It's polymer, not wood btw.

Prussel doesnt understand the concept of buying a gun strictly for shits and giggles/pissing around. IE: .22lr MP44/40

pffffft why would we come here then? For civilized discussions on new and old firearms and giving each other friendly advice? Fuck that, much easier to be dicks.
