scoped M14, I disagree as it has no selector switch cut in the stock near the rear sight. SAFN-49, The mag is a dead give away with the clip on it... MAS 49 is only gun I've ever seen with a that feature. And I got 50% for the FAL. And the flash hider on the second AR is an A2 style... not that it couldn't have been put on an older gun.
[editline]26th June 2012[/editline]
I think the one you say is an M1A is actually an M21, I'm probably wrong though.
Yeah your right...
Judging by the flashhiders and lower recievers, i'd say the first "M16" looks like a Colt Model 604, the other is an SP1. And the one in between is an AR10. I love the AR10, but the more i look at it the more it looks like it's an M16 an 8 year old made out of lego.
I got 50% for the FAL.
HERESY! One does not mistake the FAL's gorgeous shape with the blocky CETME/G3's. And well, when identifying M16 variants the lower receiver is my first point of investigation. No forward assist, no party. [editline]26th June 2012[/editline] Oh and, when I posted my list I hadn't seen yours. Looking back at the thing, I didn't notice the lack of a selector on the M21...
[t]http://firearms4u.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/CETME-1.jpg[/t] CETME 4/10 see me after class
Oh so THAT'S what the assault rifle is in Fallout 3 [editline]26th June 2012[/editline] I thought it was some fictional G3 ripoff.
The guys who made the CETME later went to help design the G3, the rifles are really really similar.

Other than that, the AR-15 has it beat in every way.
Second from the top looks like a French Lebel 1886, a carbine version possibly? wait, beat me to it, it's its successor the mas-36. And that FAL looks more like a British SLR than the genuine article.
should i spend money on my gun habit or on airsoft shit pruss stay out of this
Went to a bunch of gun stores today lookin for nuggets with no luck. Only found them at Big 5 for a whopping 179.99 each not even pristine or anything special. Cabela's is lookin nice at the time but still 158 ish after tax is also a bit ridiculous.
should i spend money on my gun habit or on airsoft shit pruss stay out of this
I'm having a similar dilemma. Guns or guitars.
I wish I could have that dilemma, I had the fullest intention to get a dodgy G3 for 200 quid but I went out the night before and lost half to booze and taxi and the other to the blackjack table.
you should become a musician, the booze is all free

If i had an AR15, i'd get one of those uppers. They sell them here: http://www.nodakspud.com/AR Lowers.htm About 3/4 of the way down the page.
you should become a musician, the booze is all free
I was in a ska band for a good year and a half and can attest to this.
should i spend money on my gun habit or on airsoft shit pruss stay out of this
I'd go for airsoft because guns are limited to the range while you can just shoot at targets at home with an airsoft gun.
Went to a new hole in the wall kind of gun range/store yesterday. They had Lee Enfields, competition 10/22s. Remington 700s (Police Models) then they were selling colt .38 police special revolvers for $138. They had a few Cz550s and some over unders for pretty cheap. The range was empty and they let me use whatever shotgun ammo I wanted to (never heard of indoor ranges allowing buckshot or birdshot) needless to say. yesterday was pretty good.
I'd go for airsoft because guns are limited to the range while you can just shoot at targets at home with an airsoft gun.
And people.
And people.
Yeah but if you're gonna shoot at people (without getting into trouble I mean) you'll have to put as much if not more preparation into it than shooting at a range with a firearm.
Go with guns... better for when SHTF
The first shot I took with my SKS I killed a woodchuck. He was about 75 yards out and bam I got him. Also obligatory photo of me with the ol gal that we took after my graduation yesterday. They are harmless, you can't use their meat or hides, they don't have over-population problems, and they aren't exactly difficult or rewarding to hunt. I'm sorry, I just have a distaste for hunting as sport. Never kill something unless you have a decent reason to.
no frigging clues
May be a Sako of some sort.
Some guy challenged me to name all the guns in this picture [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/55/National_Firearms_Museum%2C_Vietnam-era_rifles.jpg[/t] And because I'm lazy I'm just going to cheat and ask you guys All I recognize in there is a M16, a M1 Garrand and a FN FAL
M1A Don't know Colt SP1 Some M16 derivative M16A1 M21 FN FAL Don't know Don't know
Some M16 derivative
hint: invented by eugine stoner before the AR15

It's called they damage/destroy crops and when they make holes in the cow pastures the cows often will break their legs in the holes then you have to shoot the cow which if you didnt know is bad because cows are quite valuable. And yes there is a woodchuck over population problem. But what do I know I'm just a stupid redneck farmer.
hint: invented by eugine stoner before the AR15
AR10?
If anybody here happens to be from Minnesota, could you recommend an outdoor rifle range somewhere near Apple Valley that doesn't require you to be a member? I want to go shooting soon but there's far too many ranges to pick from and I don't want to end up at a shitty range. Having rentals available doesn't really matter, but would be a bonus.
Find some friends out in the country. I have been to Bills Gunshop in Robbinsdale and numerous other ranges but a friends farm field has been the best. Free rentals if you get others to come shoot with you
M16A1
i'm a lurker, and i'm not the brightest when it comes to guns, but the M16A1 has a forward assist, and the picture isn't reversed.

I remember you guys freaking out about it last time I asked, but there was a question I didn't receiver an answer to: What would a muzzle break do for a Nagant? And yes, I know you guys think the bolt-on muzzle breaks for the 91/30 are dangerous, but I'm just curious.
