Same bullshit. Simonov and Fedor Tokarev were both Russian. So technically, they're Russian firearms.

Simonov was gay in rifles, he got only famous because of his 14.5mm PTRS.
Umenat is either a troll or a tool. Not sure which yet

There's this large, desolate area near my place (50 minutes out) where people just go to shoot stuff. Last time we went there we saw mannequins, smashed fruit, and a mac computer.
I asked earlier but no one seemed to know, so one final attempt

Did the guy who found this in the bottom of a lake or at the bottom of a fire pit ever gut this gun firing again?

The OP never delivered, and numerous threads were made demanding to know what happened.

So no-one really knows
I guess we can only assume it exploded and killed everybody within a kilometer.

Well living 50 feet from the desert is pretty nice for shooting and all that. The positives pretty much stop there though.
Anyone have any experience with a Sig P229 by any chance? Saw one earlier and thought it looked like a fun little pistol to shoot.
hes special ops alright
rode the goddamn short c130 to work
We're having trouble with our AR-15. It keeps shooting low and left, and no matter how many times we try to adjust sights, it's not working.
Bring it in to someone or try seeing if it would work with optics.

Is it keyholing?
It just feels weird to me whenever some one says the whole name properly of a weapon, like that guy. They're either trying to look smart or sound like spokesperson to me.
"hey guys I just picked up my Soviet semi-automatic SVT-40 rifle chambered in 7.62x54r"
Instead of "hey just picked up an old fucking svt"

Hello fellow forum dwellers, I have come to become a purchaser of a certain bolt-action high-power rifle made of steel and wood. My reason for purchasing this firearm was as a birthday present for myself on the fifth day of the eleventh month in the two-thousand eleventh year. This rifle is known as the Mosin Nagant rifle, created in 1891 and improved upon in the year 1930, and propels a bullet of dimensions 7.62x54mm with a rimmed casing downrange. The particular model of firearm, which I have acquired for one-hundred fifty United States dollars, was created by the Soviet arms manufacturer named Tula in the year 1935. The receiver of said weapon is not of a rounded shape, but of a hexagonal one. The bullet trajectory of said rifle is straight and true, and is plenty fine for my needs of using at a range for the discharging of firearms.
hey guys I just picked up my Soviet semi-automatic SVT-40 rifle
Heh, it's funny because it'd be like saying "I just bought a semi-automatic semi-automatic rifle rifle"
Depends on the gun for me. A mosin-nagant gets the designation like M44 (unless it's an M91 or improved version like 91/30 etc., which gets called nugget), an SVT will just be svt unless it's an SVT-38, AVT, SKT, etc.
Most modern sporting guns will just be their model number like Mossberg 702 or a colloquial name like R700.
shotguns will usually be called names like model 12 or 590.
Glocks get the regular g(model) designation like g22, g17, g20, etc. Sigs get called Sigs regardless of their model. Anything else I usually call by their military designation or brand followed by the weapon type
