Oh boy.
Soviet engineering can't be that great if you have to cover it up with capitalist-made rubber shit.
OKay.
Oh great, we're diving down into idiocy. Again. Listen up, how about we all ignore this bloody idiot and continue our peaceful lives? Seriously, we even have a "hide this cunt's posts from now on" button, designed just for such an occasion. Fucks sake.

[t]http://i.imgur.com/vhKDv.png[/t] See? It works.
So I got some Magsafe ammo for a little .32 of mine, anyone have any experience it with magsafe?
Dat cocking
Now do it with a bolt action rifle.
I bought it, i didnt find it. Get out.
you're fucking stupid there, I said it. now lets ignore this shit troll and talk about guns
Now do it with a bolt action rifle.
It could be pulled off with a straight-pull bolt gun :v:
It could be pulled off with a straight-pull bolt gun :v:
I'm still slightly baffled by straight-pull bolt guns.
We have Steyr-Mannlicher with a straight pull bolt. It's really stiff, and kicks like a mule on crack (that's actually what the auction said, and I concur). I love it a lot. [img_thumb]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d0/1626_-_Salzburg_-_Festung_Hohensalzburg_-_Repetier.JPG/800px-1626_-_Salzburg_-_Festung_Hohensalzburg_-_Repetier.JPG[/img_thumb] We have a carbine.
Man if any gun control comes from the stupid gang shit happening in Toronto I will... fuck I can't even think of something witty to say I'm just pissed as hell.
The Swiss K31 sounds like an interesting concept but I'd imagine the ammo is fairly difficult to find. I've been on a pocket pistol kick lately, I'd love to own a Walther PP or something similar one of these days.

My grandmother gave me hers and it's a fun little handgun. It's also a really cheap pistol to.
I'm still slightly baffled by straight-pull bolt guns.
they're pretty simple, I'm baffled that it's not the standard
How the Hell do you get the rounds for it
They're not cheap, and they look really weird. However, you can find them. We actually have some 80+ year old rounds for the thing that are Nazi Marked. We won't ever fire those, however. They are collectible (and will probably blow up).
they're pretty simple, I'm baffled that it's not the standard
They aren't quite as reliable and simple as turn-bolt designs. They also have a tendency to be kind of stiff. Other than that I can't think of any other reasons why they weren't as popular. The Nazi marked ammunition works just as fine today as it did when it was first made as long as it was stored correctly. Even if it weren't stored correctly it probably would just hang-fire or not work at all. Cartridges kind of are supposed to blow up anyway. That's just sort of how they work. As long as the firearm is in working order, you shouldn't have to worry about anything exploding in your face. Hell I've actually fired the Hungarian, non-Nazi marked 8x56R out of my M95 Steyr and didn't have any problems. It kicks like a drunken whore on a meth binge but it still functions just fine after all these years.
Just checked, our Nazi Marked rounds are only 74 years old, but still. They are damned old. [editline]22nd July 2012[/editline] And for anyone who's interested in getting some Nazi marked ammo with Enbloc clips for their M1985s, here's a set of 5 clips: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=296929551 JUST DON'T FIRE THEM!!!

That said, we did take the enbloc clips and put new rounds on them.
Hornady makes new production 8x56R for about the same price as standard 30-06 ammo.
I should probably check that out then.
I still wouldn't want to shoot them simply because they are a piece of history. I just take the Nazi marked ammunition out of the clip. The Hungarian ammunition of the same period I'm perfectly okay with firing though. I just usually avoid it because corrosive primers are a bitch to clean.

Now here's an interesting question: Is anyone here an FFL? I'd really like to get into the business of selling some nice pieces of history, but I'm not too sure how to go about becoming one, and how old I need to be to do so. I get the feeling the age requirement is 21 because of handguns and such, which means I'd have to wait two years.
