Anyone have a Rossi model 68?
.50 Baby Killer
Yup.
Yup.
How much did you pay for that sucker? It almost looks like the Barrett .50
It is a Barrett M82 .50BMG/12,7x99, you clown
It's an M82A1. ಠ_ಠ
M82s tend to go for around 6-8 grand usually
.50 Baby Killer
It will kill 50 babies with one shot...JUST FROM THE SHOCK WAVE! :v:
Generally when I hunt I don't try to obliterate what I'm hunting :v:
Why not? Instant hamburgers, man.
you could probably actually kill a baby with just the recoil of a .50BMG
you could probably actually kill a baby with just the recoil of a .50BMG
The recoil isn't actually that bad. Yeah It'll probably fuck up a baby, but it's actually fairly gentle to the shoulder.
The recoil isn't actually that bad. Yeah It's probably fuck up a baby, but it's actually fairly gentle to the shoulder.
not as heavy as you'd expect I think you're underestimating how fragile babies actually are
Sooo, Talked with my dad, cause a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend, somehow got his hands on a Dragnauv SVD, or a soviet block "clone". Guy wants about 900$ for it, and my dad feels he can haggle him down. The thing has a PSO scope on it thats apparently Russian. Think it's worth the money?
maybe about 700.
you could probably actually kill a baby with just the recoil of a .50BMG
We went from my 15$ green dot sight on a barrett to how a barrett can kill a baby. Wat.
We went from my 15$ green dot sight on a barrett to how a barrett can kill a baby. Wat.
Welcome to Facepunch: Attention span of a............is that a butterfly?
not as heavy as you'd expect I think you're underestimating how fragile babies actually are
I stated that it would fuck up a baby...
My girlfriend has been pestering me for a zombie target to shoot for as long as I've drug her to the range. I decided since her birthday is in a few days I'd make her an awesome one. It cost me nothing as I already had everything on hand and I'm really pleased with my afternoons work. It's made of 3/4" Pressure treated plywood, I know it wont last forever but with .22's it'll last quite a while. The head is on a pivot with a rubber strap to snap it back in place. The head is very balanced and takes nearly nothing to push it back, then it gently springs back into place. I'm quite sure a .22 will knock it back. I figure this and the Glock 26 I got her will make for a nice zombie themed birthday bash. Also when the paper is torn apart beyond recognitiion I'll be able to peel it off and apply another copy, I made a few, and the head is easily replacable, I cut three out while I was at it. Also I'm going to make a simpler version of this as well that is just cardboard, or thin plywood and a head circle cut out for a clay pigeon, to use with the 9mm.

[editline]24th July 2012[/editline] might be a zastava m91 or PSL as well
If it's Russian: BUY THAT SHIT IMMEDIATELY, IT'S LIKE GETTING IT FOR FUCKING FREE If it's Chink: buy it, it's a pretty great price. If it's a PSL or M91 aka not-a-dragunov: still buy it, it's a decent deal.
*Awesome wooden zombie target*
That's some great work right there. Mind telling what exactly went into the mechanism that keeps the head in place until impact? I thought about making a dueling tree version of this. :v:

I've been wanting a semi-auto in 7.62x54r, so it's a win-win either way. EDIT: When I get there, any marks I need to look for, any things I can look at to see what exactly it is? Any subtle differences, ect.
make video about the zombie target, i want to see it in action
I with I had a Dragunov SVD, such a cool looking rifle

Hey guys, I've got a real sharp M44 and I was wondering do any of you guys have the 91/30 with a scope? If so, do you suggest it? I was thinking of picking up a thousand rounds for the mosin but I'd want some variation. Also, what you guys consider the ultimate (realistic) russian arms collection to aspire to own?

still cheaper than a Sako TRG-42 or Barrett M98B with optics
still cheaper than a Sako TRG-42 or Barrett M98B with optics
And a hell of a lot cheaper to shoot.
It's an M82A1. ಠ_ಠ
You can actually have something like that?
