Montana has some pretty beautiful scenery. Passed through there on a trip to Yellowstone a few years back. [editline]25th July 2012[/editline] In other news, I convinced my grandpa to get a FOID card. He got it yesterday. Today he told me he bought a few things. [sp]Glock 17 Glock 23 or 27, can't quite remember S&W 686 Ruger 10/22[/sp] My grandpa is cool.
Turns out that he decided not to get the Glocks at the last minute. Instead he got the the Springfield XDm counterparts. Also the S&W is an original Model 19-2 from 1964, not a 686.
I would get a big can of bear spray/repellant. It is like OC on steroids. You can kill a human with it due to the amount of pain it inflicts.
OC works fine on bears, it just won't stop it dead in it's tracks like that stuff does most of the time, so if it's charging at you is pretty much the only time you need to go that overkill, too bad that stuff half burns you up for a few hours as well.
I'm thinking about getting a M91/30 Mosin Nagant Rifle chambered in 7.62x54R from Classic guns for $89.99. Sound good guys?
you should just get a mosin in .38 special instead. good beginner gun imo
you should just get a mosin in .38 special instead. good beginner gun imo
mosin in .38 special wtf are you smoking
mosin in .38 special wtf are you smoking
Chamber inserts?
Chamber inserts?
not possible, 7.62x54r fires a 30 caliber round. .38 special is way too big [editline]28th July 2012[/editline] .38 special's metric designation (9.1x29mmR) should make it obvious that it wouldn't work
Maybe he meant the 1895 Nagant revolver? I dunno, he needs to elaborate.
mosin had nothing to do with the M1895 and they'll never chamber a .38 Spl anyway. M1895s also use a .30 caliber round
You can use .32ACP (?) in a Lee Enfield with a chamber insert, they have the same bullet diameter so it would probably work in a Mosin [editline]28th July 2012[/editline] Scratch that, 32S&W
I know a guy who says he's seen .45 ACP fired out of a Springfield and .30-06 out of a Webley. Dunno that I'd want to try it myself with one of my guns but I would love to see that. :v:
I know a guy who says he's seen .45 ACP fired out of a Springfield and .30-06 out of a Webley. Dunno that I'd want to try it myself with one of my guns but I would love to see that. :v:
They had Webleys in .45ACP, maybe he got it round the wrong way or something [editline]29th July 2012[/editline] Seems news in Australia has picked up on that guy making an AR15 on a 3d printer, and of course they call it an "assault rifle" Technically, it was a .45ACP upper, with a specially made lower that takes Grease Gun mags, because grease gun mags are too wide for a regular AR15
Webleys are break action, it's perfectly possible to shove a .30-06 into it when it's open. .45ACP and .30-06 have similar (if not identical?) case width at the base, so a .30-06 would fit into a .45ACP barrel.
Off to a local gun show in Georgia, gonna go get some 50 ammo for an upcoming video for you guys, hopefully find some parts for my new AR builds I'm working on, and some exploding targets for fun! And maybe a Cheap ass Mosin, just to toy around with. I have a 50, but I don't have a Mosin. This is a problem. :pwn:
So, one guy on /k/ had a Taurus, a CNC machine, some tools and plenty of imagination...
So, one guy on /k/ had a Taurus, a CNC machine, some tools and plenty of imagination... space age lookin' stuff
I... Wha- Wait, what?
I want a CNC machine so bad I've been wanting one for years
How are those GSG .22 MP5s? Are they any good?
How are those GSG .22 MP5s? Are they any good?
I saw a guy with one at the range a couple times ago, I think the biggest issue is loading their magazines, he barked off a good 200 rounds with it before he left. He was a good shot too.
Also why is Prvi Partizan 7.62x38R sold out everywhere? I kind of want an M1895 just because but I can't really find any ammo for it. [editline]28th July 2012[/editline] One more question: I asked my grandpa to see if the local gun shop had CZ-82s, and he said no, but they had a CZ-75 in 7.62 Tokarev. I haven't ever heard of this before. Is it a real thing?
pretty sure he means Cz 52
cz52 > cz82 anyway
That Taurus looks badass, but you don't need a cnc mill to make a good revolver cylinder, a classmate of mine made his own revolver one year (Almost finished, he fucked the finish on the barrel because it was the wrong type of steel) and plenty of people were impressed that he timed the cylinder on his without a cnc machine when he showed it off at a fair. So, in short: That's badass, but you don't need a Cnc mill to make stuff, start off by getting a decent used Bridgeport mill
pretty sure he means Cz 52
Yeah, I was thinking that was what it probably was.
In the US, yes. Technically in Australia too, if you can get an appropriate licence
Can someone of you rich and with lots of guns adopt me? I'll even get a job to feed your guns with precious bullets.
Applying for my CCW. Need a small concealable weapon. Nothing I have is small enough for a CCW arm. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/cPath/150/products_id/37893/Handguns/Kel-Tec+Handguns Opinions/experiences/etc with that one?

Good luck :v:
Applying for your CCW in Maryland. Good luck :v:
G&S has been ruled unconstitutional. The stay is for another week. After that, anyone can be approved. I guess you missed that whole thing huh?
Also that's the gun that killed Trayvon
Also that's the gun that killed Trayvon
So?
