So should I buy a Kel-Tec handgun for my carry weapon? Seems like they have good reviews... Not sure which to buy though. I'm looking for something small that I can conceal easily (the point of concealed carry) so a 9MM is probably best. There are quite a few 9MM Kel-Tec models out, just trying to decide on the right one for me.
I've read good things too... and bad things about Glock. More good about Kel-Tec though, and that fits into my budget perfectly. The PF9 is the 7+1 capacity I think? There's another one that is 8+1 I believe. I guess they're all the same quality?
And what bad things are these? I've only seen unfounded criticisms about the Glock, besides the trigger safety
glocks are of MUCH better quality, the smallest 9mm model has a mag cap of 10 rounds and they accept all larger magazines, meaning you can use the mags of fullsize and compact size pistols in a subcompact model.
why on earth would you get a keltec over a glock? austrian craftmanship is so infinitely better..

Hell, Glock was a manufacturer and designer for door hinges before he made his pistol designs.
Yeah I mean for another $200 why the hell not consider a Glock. Just worried about the concealability of it. I do like the holsters they make where the pistol just snaps in and out for easy draw.
Glock has every accessory in the world you could ever want or not.

Yeah I'll consider it. Plus Glock's are hella easy to field strip and clean.
...I like things that strip easy. :smug:
Glocks are great, but I've always had a better handle on the Hi-Power.

Hi-Power?
Soviet cartridges are better than american. They have better quality.
Soviet cartridges are better than american. They have better quality.
That can be debated...
Soviet cartridges are better than american. They have better quality.
Stop, seriously stop. Stop with this "Soviet is best111!!!!!" bull shit
Soviet cartridges are better than american. They have better quantity.
That's more accurate.
Hi-Power?
You'd better not mean that you've never heard of the Browning Hi-Power.
Even still, I'd never carry a single-action gun. My vote is on a Walther P99, either the AS version with de-cocker, or the DAO version. Aside from that, I hate Glock, so I'd say look for a nice Sig or S&W MP series. In terms of smaller guns, there's the Walther P99C, the Walther PPK in .380, or the Makarov PM. Don't get the Kel-Tek, it's only in .22WMR and looks ugly and flimsy and cheap. You don't want a cheap gun to entrust your life to, get something pricier, but more well-reputed. It's one thing for plinking, but I think you can spare $500 more dollars on top of your budget for a quality gun. After all, it's your life you're gambling with if you risk getting a possibly bad gun.

Very nice pistol. I was shooting from one, it feels very comfortable in my hand. I've had the ww2 one from 1942.
Went to a job interview and no dice... so no more guns for me till I become employed. Fuck.

Oh God I'm so embarrassed excuse me...
Hey guys, have you ever heard about non lethal weapons with rubber bullets? Those are also called traumatic. They are legalized in Russia/Ukraine/Belarus. They do look like normal guns but use rubber bullets instead. I am planning to buy this one:
Streamer 2014 from ATAK Turkish Target Industries

It shoots this weird 9mm bullets:

Pistols are illegal in those countries, but i don't care, i don't live in Russia. I just want to get something UNIQUE which is unusual. Like that streamer. BTW, you can easily kill with those, there is a lot of criminal situations in russia when those non lethal guns are used for killing. Rubber bullets have 50-100 joules energy. For example my 9x18mm Makarov has 350 joules. But still this rubber ball which is used as a bullet there can break bone. I tested it.
Also: Streamer is very cheap. Only 75 euros, new with 2 year warranty.

His ex neighbor.
Anyone know if norinco aks are milled or stamped?
If I had to guess, I'd say stamped. But since I could be wrong, they may also be milled.

Rims everywhere, lacquer fouling the gun, incredibly dirty powder and shitty steel casings?
Yeah, no.

At least they're cheap! :v:
Yeah, that's the only redeeming factor.

Old broken down cars are cheap too. You get what you pay for.
