So I watched total recall and saw a Chippa Rhino being used and it was really sexy I remember reading a thread on some firearms forum about how shit Rhinos are, can anyone confirm/deny from experience?
I haven't seen much in the way of negativity against them. I've handled a few of them (not fired any) have to say they feel quite fantastic in hand. A Rhino in .44 Magnum would be dfgfsdfgfsdg
(Not pictured is my 25mm Matchlock, Colt Navy or Ruger Blackhawk.)
Oh wow, a Frommer Stop. How is it? I was considering buying one awhile back.

[editline]4th August 2012[/editline] Actually. It looks ugly as hell now that I really look at it... no offence intended.

Don't make me get out the Stoeger Tactical O/U!
Anyone know of some premade ammo inventory spreadsheets I can use? I'm sitting here trying to sort out a metric shitload of ammo and this could take up to a week at this rate...
[t]http://puu.sh/OxLP[/t] [t]http://puu.sh/OzxW[/t] DIFFERENT Nugget, the other one had canted sights so I took it back. This one is from 1937.
Oh wow, a Frommer Stop. How is it? I was considering buying one awhile back.
Never fired it, getting ammo is pretty hard unless you reload and I don't have any dies for it. It will fire .32 auto but supposedly they lack enough umph to get it to cycle, it's not your typical semi auto pistol action and you need hot loads for the gun. But it feels good and well balanced in the hand though.

So apparently, during World War I, my great grandfather most likely used some variant of the 1903, was part of 2nd Battalion, 5th Marines, and got injured 3 times.
speaking of, when i was in high school we used old 1903 springfields for drill in ROTC and i always thought it'd be cool if i could get a working one how much do they go for?

If you just want it to look nice, probably around $900. If you want the manufacturer to match, then about $1400 minimum.

Are those armor piercing baby cop killing bullets??
Jesus Christ that's so expensive
Even parts are expensive. Lots of people started hoarding 1903 parts a few years back, really drove up the price of both guns and parts. There's a guy at the Boise gun show that always has about 10 or so of different variants, including an 03A3 with an original scope on it. Some WWI, some transitional, some WWII, all mind numbingly expensive. Not to say they're bad guns because they're not, but they aren't worth more than a regular Mauser of similar condition if you ask me.
Got these for ten cents a pop at a yard sale. I'm a happy camper.
Black Talon?
They are hollow points, of some sort. Looks like a good buy to me.
