I already have one. Have had it since I was a little kid actually.
Problem is, we never go shooting anything even though we're 50 feet from a wide open desert full of great spots.
I'm thinking of getting something in .22-250 after using one a friend has. Pretty peppy gun that was.
psl with pso-1 for $1100
h&k sl8-6 (most likely singlestack mag only) for $1300
which would you go for?

The SL8 can be modified to be more like a G36, but you're about doubling the cost of the gun.
PSL is good to go, costs less, and costs less to feed it.
that's what i'm saying too..
So the M38 is around a kilo lighter than the M44?
Well, I already have an M44. I wonder if, despite being kind of silly, how easy it would be to get an M38 and saw it down to a decent hip-firing size just for the sake of it.
Just get a 91/30 and a $200 SBR stamp.
You know you want an Obrez. Everyone wants one.

Open bolt SMGs are stupid easy to make. That's why the Sten and Thompson were both that way. You just keep the firing pin forward all the time, and make the trigger hold the bolt back.

I appear to have lost my primer pocket cleaner, and cannot continue reloading :(

But i have a friend that is a proper gun nut (one of the good guys though) and has black market connections and he let me empty a mag on a field
Wow, jelly as fuck really...
Never fired even a pea shooter.
Hahaha, you bought the same hat I did. I use it as a winter hat without the star on the front.
If I had one, I'd absolutely rock the star.
10/22s are like Honda Civics, as far as availability of after-market accessories goes.
If I had one, I'd absolutely rock the star.
I do, actually, I've worn it to university in the winter. Really speaks to the political standing of people who work in/around education when one of the custodial staff finds the hat absolutely amazing and wants to know where to find one immediately.
I don't think it's political. It's just ubiquitous.

Agreed, everyone just needs to come together and agree that the commies had some fucking rad style choices when it came to the military.
Not nearly as slick as the Nazis mind you, but I get the feeling that wearing SS gear is... well, "frowned upon" :v:
late cold war era soviet gear is way cooler than anything the nazis wore

It would be, doesn't change how fucking rad they looked though. I mean seriously, the SS uniforms were damn stylish and their logo was pretty cool.
They're sorta like a suit or something.

Anyway. There is now a company in Australia making AR15s. I figure they will only sell 10 or so a year seeing as a few hundred (maybe topping out at the thousand mark) people have the right licence for one.
Anyone want to take a guess at how much they're charging for one?
What are your guys opinions on a Mossberg Maverick 88 20gauge for home defense/recreation?
I've got a 26" barrel version (not the best for home defense) with the pheasant plug removed giving me a capacity of 5+1.
Was a pretty cheap shotgun, low recoil, decent capacity, and pretty simple to take apart.

While 12g would be preferable. A 20 loaded with buckshot will still do some serious damage to whoever is on the wrong end of it. Getting a 20 or an 18inch barrel might be a better option though. Can you swap barrels on it easily?

Yes, but I can't find a place locally that sells any 20gauge barrels in that length at the moment, that and I wanted 20gauge for the lower recoil. 12gauge is fun and all, but I would rather not have my shoulder being tender if I want to shoot 75+ rounds in a day.
Some websites say it uses mossberg 500 barrels, but I don't know.

Mossberg Maverick 88s and Mossberg 500 parts are for the most part interchangeable. I have an 18.5in barrel on my Mav 88 12g right now that fits perfectly. I don't see why it wouldn't work for you as long as it was 20g.

Looks sexy (both the gun and the girl).
Wood can work on an AR-15. It just has to have the right grain and finish.
