Are they original clips, or cheap Chinese reproductions?
i think they're the actual soviet ones, not those shitty american reproductions
I have shitty American ones and they're very meh.
Am I some kind of marksman or are cops really not able to hit a moving man in the leg? Some people are arguing that a LTL approach with about 5 officers, a squad car with a LTL gun, multiple tazers always needs to end in them shooting him in the chest. But saying that an officer can't be sure to hit the knee seems ridiculous to me, I hit far smaller targets on far higher distances, moving or not.
I'm guessing you're referring to the knife guy in Times Square yesterday?
Police officers will typically only shoot a box or two of ammo a year, to qualify with their duty pistol. As long as they can hit an 8x10 piece of paper at 5 yards, they are given the go ahead to carry on patrol.
Sport and hobby shooters will shoot more than that in a single trip, and typically go at least once a month. They are far more well versed with their firearms and accuracy than a cop is.
Not to mention, a citizen will be held responsible for every single one of their bullets that miss the target. Cops don't have to worry about that.
Just came back from shooting
M1A, M1 Carbine, 1911 Commander, Beretta M9, Marlin .22WMR and of course my Mosin Nagant
Video to follow when I get it from my friend.
It would be, doesn't change how fucking rad they looked though. I mean seriously, the SS uniforms were damn stylish and their logo was pretty cool.
They're sorta like a suit or something.

Anyway. There is now a company in Australia making AR15s. I figure they will only sell 10 or so a year seeing as a few hundred (maybe topping out at the thousand mark) people have the right licence for one.
Anyone want to take a guess at how much they're charging for one?
$14,000 locally, ~$2500 if they plan to sell them in Canada/New Zealand. What's the company's name?

The police are trained to aim for the center of the chest. They don't train and aren't required to shoot to hinder a suspect. Basically if a cop draws his gun and fires, his intent is to kill the person he is aiming at. Most everything Ridge said is right on, but I assure you police are held to just has high a standard with where there bullets land...
shooting to maim is both inhumane and violates the second rule of firearm safety (which essentially says that you should be prepared to destroy, or kill in this case, anything your gun is pointing at)

Actually, they're $8500 locally. I have no clue if they'll send them to Canada or New Zealand.
Just saw them on usedguns.com.au
I'm doing my first SBR build
Take down rifle, not my info.
DRD Tactical's new Paratus is a semi-automatic take-down .308 Win. rifle designed to meet the military's Clandestine Break-Down Semi-Automatic Rifle (CSR) proposal specifications. When broken down it fits inside an attaché case and can be assembled and ready to fire in under 60 seconds as demonstrated in the video below.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=nm1g--T0uGo
The rifle appears to be based on the AR-10 design with a return spring integrated into the upper receiver and a charging handle on the left side. Other than the charging handle, the controls are the same as an AR-10/AR-15.
With a price starting at $5615, this rifle is not designed for the casual shooters.
Cool but expensive.
buying a fancy ass stock for my short nugget

I'm still trying to figure out how I hurt myself on my nagant today.
I've never had a sore shoulder from firing it and today I try shooting it from a sitting position for the first time, and the first shot bruised my shoulder to hell and back.
takedown-rifle using DI?

At least semi-auto handguns are legal here in Australia. Can't say the same for rifles or shotguns though...

It's not that it's making it more Canadian, it's that it's considered a more socialist policy, and the common viewpoint here is "socialism = evil" which isn't true at all in moderation.
Got a problem with my nugget, if I fill the magazine up, when I fire a shot the bottom of the magazine opens up and the rounds fall out. I don't feel like buying or replacing parts, anyone know any solutions?
