Where'd you get the extended magazine for the M1? We only have the smaller box magazine.
are there any semi-auto AK104's floating around or am I going to have to chop up an AKM?

They are Korean made. I was able to get a few of em for $15 a piece.
M1 carbines are fun guns to shoot. .30 Carbine isn't exactly a bank breaker either, which is nice.
WHAT
We bought our .30 Carbine from Big5 and it was expensive as shit. Where do you buy yours?
.30 carbine is way too expensive for what it is
If I ever get the money, I'd like to get one. My grandfather carried one as a ranger in the pacific, so it would be cool to own one.
The only time I've seen 30 Carbine for sale in Australia, it was $1.50 a round
they tend to go around $.50 a round here

Not available for export to the US.
[editline]16th August 2012[/editline]
Or really anywhere as far as I know. At least for the civilian market that is.
Copyright is for a name, patent is for a design. The name "Remington 870" is copyrighted, but the patent has expired, I think it's 35 years for a patent to expire and then it becomes free game. This is why so many companies make reproductions of old war guns, AR-15s, and 1911s, their patents have expired.
Is there any specific way to find out which ones are expired or can you basically assume that ones made or patented during the cold war are now expired?

You would have thought that someone has demilled some, imported them, then rebuilt them for sale...
By the way, I was wondering what the weapon laws are for non american citizens living in the USA?
I figured that they are not allowed to own any firearm because of all the fear of terror, but they can probably still attend range days and stuff like that.
What do you guys know about this? I'm just asking because I'm probably going to study a semester there if my new study (IT) goes well and I get the opportunity.
This thing explains a lot. Have fun!
I've wondered that as well. I figured I would like to go American styled camping, maybe hunt some deer. So it seems if I have a hunting permit, I can have a gun, sweet.
I wonder if that includes a handgun... Seems I can't buy any of the guns from a dealer though, limited to buying privately
I find it funny because Umenat kept saying that he was in the marines with the blue beret, but aren't the blue berets Airborne soldiers in the Russian Military?

In Short:
-Resident Aliens (green card) may possess a firearm after 90 days of residency in the same state.
-Non-resident Aliens (non-immigrant visa) may not possess a firearm UNLESS:
*They possess a hunting license or permit
*It is on loan for a lawful sporting purpose.
*The firearms are to be displayed at a trade show.
*The firearm is an Antique or replica that is:
//A Muzzle Loader.
//Chambered for a defunct round.
"lawful sporting purpose"
And what could that entail?

Huntin' long pig, durr.
I just found out that my local gun shop (the same greedy guys that wanted 750€ for a mil-style Saiga, fuck that shit) have a TT-33 for sale.
...
It's nickel plated.

Ask the US Patent office, I'm pretty sure it's an automatic 35 years, which means any gun from 1977 or earlier is out of patent.
If you're really not sure, check if Norinco is making one. If so, you're good.

If your country needs a Visa to enter the US then you're basically screwed, if not then as long as you've attained residence status (90 days living there legally) you can own whateverthefuck, and if you don't need a Visa you can rent at a range, but even if you do they usually don't give a shit, unless you're Muslim, because the gun store/range owners are all republicans and can be rather racist.

Huh? I thought everybody needed one. Care to enlighten me?
From Norway you need a Visa if your going to stay more than 30 days.
Huh? I thought everybody needed one. Care to enlighten me?
Everyone needs a passport to show where you're from, but a Visa is different. A Visa is required usually if you're from a country that is "adversarial" towards the one you're visiting, or if you plan on being there for an extended period, working, or studying there. For instance, a Canadian can be in the US for up to 6 months at a time without a Visa, with a mandatory one week out of the country between visits if you reach that 6 months. Any longer requires either dual US/Canadian citizenship or a Visa, usually for work or school (I think a US Green Card allowing you to work there is sufficient for a Canadian as well). Since Canadians don't need a Visa to be in the US, it is speculated, though not yet confirmed, that to bring firearms into the US all we need to do is fill out the ATF Form 6NIA, not have a formal invitation to go hunting/competitive shooting as we're legal aliens who don't need a Visa, however if you need a Visa, you need a hunting permit in the US (you can get one for Alaska online for $50) or a formal invitation to a shooting event/competition. You also technically need ATF permission to rent/use a gun in the US if you're there on Visa (if what I've heard is correct), but usually the gun shops/ranges don't care.
Regular patents last 20 years, pharmaceutical patents last 30 I think. So yea, any cold war patents has now expired
time to start manufacturing HK21s
that gun was dope in rainbow six
I'm thinking of buying a Remington 700 CDL, in .300 Win Mag, to hunt boars in the Patagonia.

Thoughts?
Gun laws are a bitch where i live, so if I'm buying a gun, i want to do it right. How much does a round cost in the US?.

Make sure you snag some of those European Wild Boar for me, and kill as many as you can.
They're an invasive species and they're devastating the continental United States.

about a dollar a round for PRVI but it'll depend on what state you live in what city sometimes what store
They're an invasive species and devastating Australia too. Very popular targets in Australia, but there is still 6 million of them floating around
