It looks like that but i dont think the stock folds and the mag isnt see through. And i think it might be a tad shorter
Buy it
Make sure the mag is double-stacked. But I guess an SL-8 would be good for that price, too. [editline]27th August 2012[/editline] Just make sure you know what you're buying. I'd love an SL-8, but it'd be so disappointing if I was expecting a G36C.
SL-8 msrp is 2500 or whatever so get it and give us pics.
I've got an opportunity to buy a g36c? or g36 at the local gun shop for about 250$ buy it? It feels nice in the hand but i didn't get the caliber and yes it's semi auto.
are you sure it's not a 10/22 in a g36 housing?
are you sure it's not a 10/22 in a g36 housing?
That is what I think as well.
I went to a gun show today and there was one of those only ended up buying knives because they always want way too much for guns [editline]26th August 2012[/editline] I took my younger brother, I showed him why I don't like AKs by flipping the selector switch
Fuck Australia I want an L85A1 and I want one now Our gun laws suck.
Why do you not like AKs?
Why do you not like AKs?
I mean the thing I don't like about AKs play with the selector switch on one, you'll understand
I don't get it, whats wrong with it?
The guys going out of business soon, so he needs to sell all this stuff fast (he could sell it more expensive) The g36 only comes with one mag, and the stock isn't foldable. Those were the only downsides he said that were there, if i did 300 i could get it plus two additional mags (think im gonna do this) He's a bro to me and i get some discounts, read alot. I bought a 500 round spam can of 7.62 x 54r off him for 50$ And i guess he's trying to sell a bullpup stock for a mosin nagant? for 100$? Can someone help elaborate on that one. It looks like a russian sniper rifle, the stock. Don't know if i wanna do that one but it looks neat
He probably thinks it's too stiff to actuate without using your whole hand instead of your thumb.
I don't get it, whats wrong with it?
You need freakishly long fingers to operate it without moving your hand from the pistol grip.
he's trying to sell a bullpup stock for a mosin nagant? for 100$?
How does that work when it's at home?
You need freakishly long fingers to operate it without moving your hand from the pistol grip.
there's that, but more so that if you flip it you make an 80 Db noise and they tend to be really stiff
Honesty we need pictures before wee can give you any sort of constructive feedback
Why the hell is it so hard to find the internal mechanics of any gun on the internet? I want to find out how the hell an automatic firearm works so I can figure out how the hell holding a trigger causes the pin to move continually without any motors. I just can't figure this out I feel so dumb

I just can't figure this out I feel so dumb
depends on the gun. Simplest is blowback, where the bullet recoils with enough force to bring the bolt all the way back, where the spring pushes it back into battery and chambers a new round.

I just can't figure this out I feel so dumb
hammer strikes the back of the firing pin, bullets powder explodes, gas causes bullet to fly out the barrel. Some of the gases are sent down a gas tube, pushing a piston backwards, pushing the bolt back, cocking the hammer, loading another round into the chamber.
I will get pictures next time i run down! I have the rifle on hold and i said i wanted to look at the stock, will take pictures for you guys. Will be a few pay checks away
Awesome, this finally solves my mental dilemma that plagued me for several years. And I found this animation that that summarises the process well enough. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2007/09/20/ak-47-animation/
don't do what he did it's pretty fucking illegal but it's a good description of how a typical submachine gun works
