some guy is selling a tigr for $1700 can't buy it because it's not transferable as a hunting rifle despite being legal for hunting fuck this country
Where's that damn updated legal list for hunting? If the previous owner bought it for hunting, and the rifle is registered, you should be able to still buy it for hunting. That's atleast how it should be practiced.
My order from Sarco arrived today! Bipod and muzzle brake for the M1A: A flash suppressor for an M1 Carbine (which will have to go back because it doesn't fit all the way on): And a set of M16A1 handguards, because why not:
this may be the dumbest question i'll ever ask in this thread, but what is the most recent incarnation of a lever action rifle/shotgun?
this may be the dumbest question i'll ever ask in this thread, but what is the most recent incarnation of a lever action rifle/shotgun?
There isn't one. Level action rifles haven't had an improvement since at least the 1900s.
Daisy Red Ryders added a crossbar safety selector :)
Anyone have any experience with the Suomi KP31s? Thinking about picking one up.
INNOVATION! :v:
this may be the dumbest question i'll ever ask in this thread, but what is the most recent incarnation of a lever action rifle/shotgun?
I don't think you want to look at this, but the mossberg 464 tactical is the most modern lever-action

its still a .30-30 though so I still wouldn't call it modern [editline]29th August 2012[/editline] more like a factory bubba job
I can hear its silent, dreadful screams. It's suffering.
That is old news, where the hell have you been?
I feel like a lever action was the only thing the Rossi Circuit Judge was missing. A lever action revolver shotgun carbine.
That is old news, where the hell have you been?
I know, but it still fills me with sadness every time I see it. I think it's the M4-styled stock, that shit should not be attached to anything. Not even M4s.
I feel like a lever action was the only thing the Rossi Circuit Judge was missing. A lever action revolver shotgun carbine.
Make it reload like the Johnson, and you got yourself a deal. If we have to throw sanity down the shitter, we're doing it in style.
Don't repeaters load into the stock :v:?
Don't repeaters load into the stock :v:?
Only the first few. The rest were tube mags or what have you.
Uh, no? Assuming that with"repeater" you mean a lever-action gun, I've seen only one rifle that held its cartridges into the stock, but it was really an obscure model. Most are tube fed, and a few use internal box magazines. [editline]30th August 2012[/editline] Wow fuck, I type slowly. I guess I shouldn't write long posts at 2:30 AM...
The original lever action did have the cartridges in the stock afaik.
Dis thread lacks shotguns :V http://dl.dropbox.com/u/95723740/Gun/P5050262.JPG Mossberg 500 w/ ATI stock, Tacstar shell saddle, Mako fore-end, magpul moe grip and a blackhawk shotgun sling... I fucking love this thing :) Now one thing I would like to do is remove the sling, put the standard foregrip back on and trade it in plus some extra cash for a 590 w/ ghost ring sights... Sound like a good trade off?
And a set of M16A1 handguards, because why not:
Just seeing that raises a question. Where's a good place to find these?
Just seeing that raises a question. Where's a good place to find these?
I bought mine from Sarco for $35 + $9.95 shipping. They're like new, but one of the teeth on the bottom broke in shipping. I think they are wrapped together too tight.
The original lever action did have the cartridges in the stock afaik.
I'm p. sure only the Spencer rifle held it's rounds in the stock. If by "original lever action" you mean the Henry it was a tubular magazine under the barrel
The only guns I know to hold rounds in the stock are some .22 semis, notably the Browning one whose name I don't know, I think it's just called the semi-22.
My friend's Winchester model 141 bolt action holds the rounds in a tube magazine in the stock.
the 141 is a really stupid design though
The only guns I know to hold rounds in the stock are some .22 semis, notably the Browning one whose name I don't know, I think it's just called the semi-22.
Well, there's the Nylon 66, which is nightmare inducing to disassemble and re-assemble again.
*sigh* Wish I could find someone in the Phoenix area to sell me something fun and cheap that I could take plinking, like a cowboy revolver or an old CZ pistol. Am I the only one here that thinks that face-to-face meetings are sketchy as fuck?
Very interesting video from an actual professional medical lecture on gunshot wounds. Must watch for anyone who actually thinks people die instantly when hit by bullets like they do in vidya. Also interesting to note that handgun gunshot wounds are very rarely fatal.

Went by a pawn shop this morning to look at a 1911. It was already on hold for someone else, but I did get to handle a Hi Point 9mm carbine. Things are ugly as sin, but my old one ran like a top! I'm mulling over the idea of buying it. Last thing I need is another long gun...
There's a C96 with shoulderstock/holster at my local shop. I'd buy it so fast if I was 21 and had $800
