I think its pretty clever how they dump the casings out of the now-unused magwell.
so i was watching a video of some guy shooting a M249 and i saw that when he put in a new belt and cocked the gun, he pulls it back, then pushes it forward, and i noticed that almost all belt fed guns do that. versus just pulling it back and releasing it, the spring making the bolt feed the next round. why do they do that?
So how do you fellows feel about shoulder holsters? [editline]3rd February 2012[/editline] Ohhh pushing it back in, I dunno, they trust their own hands more than the spring would be my guess.

insurgents are crazy when it comes to mounting guns taken by someone who was actually there

i wonder if it can fire while on the move
i wonder if it can fire while on the move
Nope it would roll forwards as soon as it fires. By the way, my new Mosin Nagant, is a 1938 Tula with matching numbers and an excellent bore. fuck yes. And this is an achievement for me because I live in Victoria, Australia where Mosins in stores are literally non-existent. Still $375 god fucking damnit. I already know what my next rifle will be, No.4 or SMLE Lee Enfield.

I'm not sure if there are any major performance differences, its just a matter of preference and looks. Then again, I'm not an Enfield expert so I'm not exactly sure.

I also found this. :v:

Araknid, why didn't you get a SMLE in the first place? It's better than a Mosin on pretty much all grounds, and in Australia it's infinitely cheaper...
Reminds me of the German motorcycles with MG 42s on the side cars.
except it's mounted backwards, increases the lolwut factor by 5000
except it's mounted backwards, increases the lolwut factor by 5000
It's probably too heavy to get in front of a target, so maybe they weren't dune putting it on.
except it's mounted backwards, increases the lolwut factor by 5000
By Ork logic, it both eliminates people chasing you, AND increases your speed. A drag race featuring two of these would be fucking amazing to watch.

I want to try to fire slugs while sitting in an office chair now. will only load one round for safety.
Best Libyan creation is their BMP turret mounted to a truck with 2 by 4's.
If it wasn't for the snow I'd do it right this instant.
Do i anyway :v:
you need a bipod though to doitright
Going to a outdoor sports shop that has a few sales going on. Hoping to get me a SKS, Nugget revolver and a 1911.
Ok everyone. The plan is to buy PKM's and do that everywhere. At a localish gun shop recently and they had an PRK with a bipod... I wanted so bad but it was not for sale... I cried.
That leg up firing method is actually in the US Army field manual for using a beltfed weapon against enemy aircraft.
