In Italy our Nugget is, well, the Nugget. However our laws forbid modifications of various kind, mostly shortening and rechambering.
Whenever I hear .270, .264, 30-30 and similar calibers, I end up thinking "FUDDFUDDFUDDFUDDFUDDFUDD" I can't help it, it's like a disease to me :v:
That's a lil silly dontcha think?

A classmate brought it in to deactivate it. And the last time I was asking around for 7.62x54r, the guy behind counter said "I've worked for 5 years, never having anyone ask about this, but you, you are the second guy this WEEK!" That's how life is in socialist Norway. I'm sure I've told you this before :v:
I don't understand why people buy rifles then have them rechambered in a different caliber. If you want a .270, buy a .270 instead of ruining a nice historical rifle.
Thats basically what i said when i told him i wanted a K98 in 8mm
I'm sure I've told you this before :v:
P sure I've posted my hung M44 here before
[img_thumb]http://puu.sh/15OV9[/img_thumb] [img_thumb]http://puu.sh/15OVF[/img_thumb] That worked better than I thought it would.
fucking incredible
Only improvement I can think of involves more wood and cutting that RIS in half.
It's a tommy gun :D
I personally don't like the foregrip and think you should go with the fg42 concept from before, but still very nice job
I personally LOVE the foregrip but not with all dem rails above it. If you could make the handguards also wood and attach the grip somewhere in there, like a recessed mostly hidden rail if need be?
Give it a wood stock.
If I were to get a 1911 chambered in 9mm, would that cause John Moses Browning to roll over in his grave?
Maybe, but he'll roll over in his grave for sure if you get it in 7.62x25 tok. (yes they exist (what the fuck))
Maybe, but he'll roll over in his grave for sure if you get it in 7.62x25 tok. (yes they exist (what the fuck))
I actually want one, they sound pretty awesome. They also make conversion kits. Then again, 7.62x25 is more common up here than down south, and a hell of a lot cheaper than .45.
I'm sure it'll make people at gun ranges do a double take.

I'd like on in 7.62x25mm, That stuff is dirt cheap in Australia and we can't have .45ACP
Can someone explain to me the advantages of 9mm browning? The shorter round and the 9mm bullet kind of interest me.
I personally don't like the foregrip and think you should go with the fg42 concept from before, but still very nice job
Yeah, I only put that Thompson grip on there because I had it, I'm still gonna do a full wood foregrip. It's actually very comfortable and ergonomical, can hold it at the magwell or by the vertical grip. But now I can make a stock for it and skip the foregrip for now. The unfortunate thing is those rails are integral with the barrel shroud, they can't be removed without grinding them off and I don't want to do that.
If I were to get a 1911 chambered in 9mm, would that cause John Moses Browning to roll over in his grave?
Considering he invented the Hi-Power, nope I don't think he would mind.
Can someone explain to me the advantages of 9mm browning? The only advantage is from an engineering perspective. It's such a low power round you can use straight blowback action, making construction and design more simple
.380 ACP makes an ok, minimum self defense round. It is better as a backup for your standard concealed carry pistol.
9x18 is a better choice, it's more powerful and cheaper

Are any of you guys looking to buy some World War 2 era guns (fullauto kits and rifles semi/bolt action). Prices look alright. http://www.forgottenweapons.com/selling-some-parts-kits-and-rifles/#more-4844
The prices on those rifles is suspiciously low.
not really. they're low but not low enough that I'd be worried.
