Oh god if it's anything worse than HWASG then I dunno if I can handle it.

Anyway, I'm thinking of buying a Hi-Standard H-D Military for $389.95, seem worth it? Seems worth it to me.

Ffffriday night, motherfuckers!
So out of all the Illinois Legal FN stuff, what should I buy? Kenny (The guy opening his store on Thursday) has just about 8 of everything.
ugh
And I've just started..
What amounts of ammo can you buy as a cartridge collector per caliber?
You got me thinking maybe I should start thinking about it too.
So the only decent ones I own I have a picture of, the rest are just surplus and shit.

The Semi is a Remington 11-48 (Mohawk 48) in 12GA (28in. Barrel), only chambers 2.75in, the Pump is a Remington 870 Express Magnum in 20GA (24in. Barrel), and chambers 2.75in or 3in.
What kind of grip is that on the AK that's directly to the right of the Vz. 58?
It's not actually an AK, it's a Hungarian AMD-65 and from what I know it keeps the grip a bit further away from your knuckles when you're fiddling around with your magazine (although it looks like it'd be awkward as fuck to hold?).
So out of all the Illinois Legal FN stuff, what should I buy? Kenny (The guy opening his store on Thursday) has just about 8 of everything.
Well...FN SLP's are pretty darn good Semi-auto shotguns that should be legal there (they're a bit on the pricey side though mind you $1000+ average)
And as far has handguns go FNP's are a good bet and do come with those 10 round magazines which I despise.
Guess what $200 got me.
A nugget and 800 rounds of ammo?
No, the 800 rounds alone are $300.
A beat-up T38 Arisaka. From the pictures of it I've seen, the mum's gone though.
Now the fun part, finding 6.5x50SR for it...

Well that's my buddy, but I'll be sure to pass the observation along.
Does any of this look... safe to you guys?

Something about the website just feels sketchy, and some of the shotgun shells they have on here feel like if something were to go wrong, it would go wrong in a very, very big way.

Don't know about how safe they are, but if you used any of them in self defense, the prosecutor would tear you to ribbons.

not if they're dead
not if they're dead
I don't think you truly grasp the situation. Especially in more left leaning states. They (the family of the crook and prosecutors) will want to know EVERY. LITTLE. DETAIL. of what happened. If you used that kind of ammunition they will tear you apart.
not if they're dead
We discussed similar cases on /k/ many times, since they have a hobby of loading all kinds of crazy shit into 12ga shells. Apparently, it'd count as an unusual/cruel death, so brace for jail time.
Although, fending off home invaders by shooting at them lego men dressed as Superman is certainly going to result in the most PRICELESS look on the judge's face. If that's worth it to you, go ahead.

That's an interesting idea. Metal Lego 12 ga loads.
Does anyone know of any good ironsights for the 10/22?
Preferrably AR-15 type front and rear should be ghost ring or HK-type.
Rear ones should fit the scope mount screw holes or fit the slot for the standard rear sight. Front sight should be a drop in/screw on/slide in installation on the front sight base.
Have you looked at Tech-sights? http://www.tech-sights.com/ruger3.htm

Illinois represent. Also, as far as I know, basically most of the FN stuff you can find is legal. SCAR, F2000, PS90, 5-7.

Oh my, I want this.
Thanks for the tip, those look alright.
Only problem is threading and mounting a silencer though..
Why do sights always have to be placed three millimetres from the crown? :suicide:
10/22 you say. Well then I'm sure someone makes a barrel that's already to go with threads and all. Otherwise time to DIY a new sight base...

Just buy a new barrel.
Don't know about how safe they are, but if you used any of them in self defense, the prosecutor would tear you to ribbons.
Exactly, this shit is merely for target shooting and general shooting shenanigans. Using this as self-defense ammo is more then likely breaking a lot of laws. The only one i can see not getting in trouble with is the pepper-shot and confetti ammo. That and them rounds may damage the gun.
Oh boy, I would totally use those confetti rounds in a home defense situation.
"Gimme all your stuff."
"Nope."
what
how does that help me
i want to use both ironsights and a silencer
i'd have to move the front sight base back
I would hazard that he is suggesting that a barrel is made with silencers and ironsight in mind requiring no move of the sight base...

Companies make new barrels for the gun. Most are already threaded. All you have to do is have the front sight installed by a smith since almost all of the barrels are for scoped rifles. Check with a smith to see if it is better to have your current barrel modified than to buy a brand new one.
There is this one: http://www.hi-desertdog.com/ruger-10/22-accessories-/barrels-silencer-ready-with-threaded-muzzles-/open-sights-or-scope-mount-barrels/ruger-10/22-black-sighted-threaded-barrel.html
Or you can buy one of Tactical Solutions' barrels and have it smithed.
Wait so does that mean it's illegal to use flachette ammunition for home defense? :v:
Wait so does that mean it's illegal to use flachette ammunition for home defense? :v:
Fuck those, if I were you I'd look up the legality of rock salt. AFAIK use of it is considered a war crime.
