That leg up firing method is actually in the US Army field manual for using a beltfed weapon against enemy aircraft.

Huh, I never really considered .22LR for self-defense up to this point, but that was decently conclusive.
Not for stopping power of course, but still.

Obviously not for stopping power but that was good info.

Another video...this guy is awesome, watch his others:
Most machine guns fire from open bolt
You just pull the bolt assembly backwards, cocking the hammer and placing the bolt behind the sear
Pulling the trigger makes the bolt fly forwards, fire a cartridge, eject it and repeat
On MGs shooting rimmed cartridges or using disintegrating links (Browning M2, PKM, M249, etc..) the round is stripped from the belt as you pull the bolt backwards
For example, an MG34, MG42 or MG3 all have the rounds get pushed down from the belt as the bolt goes forward
An M2, PKM, FN MiniMi, FN MAG or KORD have the rounds stripped backwards out of the belt as the bolt does the same
On the FN MAG and Minimi, the round is striped as the bolt moves forward

Why is it "fucking liberals" if a representative brings a gun into the Capital building? :v:
Wisconsin Capital, that is.

They are as American as you and I right?
Sure, but I fail to see why it might be considered appropriate to bring a gun into a place of government. I'm sure there would be just as big a reaction if a Senator or a Representative had walked into the House or the Senate with a Glock strapped to their hip.
And seriously, he brought it because he "felt unsafe"? That's just a charged statement within itself, and the only reason he brought it to work with him was to be inflammatory.
Blah... got delayed from picking up my Sig all week, but I'm finally going to get it tomorrow morning. Pics will be had.
Also ordered a few mags and a holster for it today. Quite excited.
Araknid, why didn't you get a SMLE in the first place? It's better than a Mosin on pretty much all grounds, and in Australia it's infinitely cheaper...
Because I'm Russian and I like mosins.
Plus my dad wanted one too.

I enjoy Nutnfacny alot of people don't though. I also like the ARMORYChannel, and again some don't.
This is fucking hilarious.
I was looking for another CZ-52 to buy when I stumble upon what the person selling calls "some sort of 9mm Russian handgun". I take a look, google 9mm Ruskie guns, comes up with something that looks completely different, and then I take a second look.
It's a fucking CZ-52 that they've mistaken for a 9mm. And they're offering ammunition with the gun. Soooo....
If I buy this thing, does anyone want some 9mm?
[editline]4th February 2012[/editline]
Oh and they're also offering a holster that obviously doesn't fit the gun, so I guess I can toss that up too. It's worth it for the price they're asking just for the gun alone, so I'd be willing to give it up for less than market.
You know, some of those guns were manufactured (possibly refitted, not entirely sure if that's possible though) in 9mm, none of the Russian ones, but I know the Chinese and Yugo's made some 9mm Tokarevs too, the Czechs may have hooped on it as well. I'd have it checked a bit, and perhaps ask him if he's ever fired it too, because if he's fired 9mm out of it, chances are it's a 9mm, I can't see that even chambering in a normal TT/TT clone.

Guy says he's never fired it and it's factory-stamped. The whole thing is actually starting to feel slightly suspicious, I'm going to have him let me inspect it in a public place and if things are wonky I might ring up the ATF. It's like he has no idea what he's selling which makes me wonder if it's stolen or found.
Well, it apparently is a CZ-52, and they've never been made in 9x18 AFAIK.
So yeah, the whole thing sounds incredibly fishy.
Faze try Iraqi veteran 8888 top bloke, gun websites (a must no bullshit), weapons education, kiwitedferney an NZ bloke with a large collection of WW2 guns and artifacts, gunblastdotcom he has quick reviews (check that beard). I think nutnfancy can get fucked. Lastly suar08161991 he makes procision long range competition rifles, his videos provide an insight into the great craftmanship of these rifles, its down to the thousands. Cokeman for laughs.
Cokeman is just a fucking tool. Seems fun to hang out with, though.
Iraqiveteran8888 has quite a few funny vids and a few serious ones, an all rounder I guess. I forgot about C2builder, C2 has an execlent collection of full auto guns, info on full auto/semi auto kits and ggeneral information on how to own a full auto when you get the munnies.
GunWebsites also has some interesting videos.
nutnfancy is a fucking tool and nobody should ever resort to his DURACOT AND YU ESS AYE videos for facts nor help.
