Kinda stupid that a foregrip on a pistol makes it an AOW. Granted, it's also a stupid idea to put a foregrip on a pistol, but it seems weird that it would change its status as a pistol.

Granted, it's also a stupid idea to put a foregrip on a pistol, but it seems weird that it would change its status as a pistol.
The idea is that it makes it a weapon designed to be fired with two hands instead of one. Of course, pistols that have forward magazines that you can hold (Like the PPS-43), or even hand guards (like the Draco AK pistols), which you can easily hold with 2 hands, aren't banned. Of course California made sure to ban any pistols with magazines outside of the pistol grip, as well as hand guards and barrel shrouds that could be used to hold a pistol with 2 hands. Even though most people hold the pistol grip with 2 hands anyway...
I don't know anybody who DOESN'T hold a pistol two-handed. Not to mention, how are you going to fire the bigger caliber, heavier recoil pistols one handed? :v:
So I pretty much decided that when I get a handgun, it's probably gonna be the CZ-75BD. Gonna call the local gun store tomorrow and see if they have them and check the price if they do. :v:
So there's no objection to this? I'm not making a horrible decision? I just want to make sure before I blow my wad on it. :v:
So there's no objection to this? I'm not making a horrible decision? I just want to make sure before I blow my wad on it. :v:
Nah, a CZ-75 is a good gun. Not very expensive, and 9x19 is a good starting caliber. Plus (IMO) it has great ergonomics and aesthetics. Definitely see if your local gun shop has one. Though, make sure you like what you are getting and don't just blindly buy something. If there is something that stands out to you that you don't like, don't get it.
Hello everybody, I have strange problem I need help with. Two weeks ago I was approached by Edgar Allen Poe, he said that I needed to use his time device to go into the past and assassinate Archduke Ferdinand in order to stop time from decompressing, I need to know a period correct gun that I can get for cheap, any help would be appreciated.
What the shit
You heard me, I need to know what was used. Mauser C96? Luger? What man!? What!?
You heard me, I need to know what was used. Mauser C96? Luger? What man!? What!?
Well, Archduke Ferdinand was historically assassinated with an FN Model 10. Seems like a pretty inexpensive concealable design.
A Browning 1910 was used apparently. No idea of the price though.
An ak47
They're illegal in the us I thunk.
No... not as far as I know. Then again you could just get an Uzi http://www.vectorarms.com/uzi_parkerized.html or an MPA https://www.masterpiecearms.com/proddetail.php?prod=MPA10T
They're illegal in the us I thunk.
They're not. Semi's are somewhat available.
But they are absolutely shit and you should not buy them.

They're not. Semi's are somewhat available.
But they are absolutely shit and you should not buy them.

I thought the newer variant was somewhat decent. The older ones are banned because of their extra high tendency to go fullauto when you least expected it, and were piss easy to convert to FA in your garage with a screwdriver and some chewing gum.
Don't buy ANYTHING before you have held it and know how it handles... that's the stupidest thing you can do when it comes to firearm purchases.
I wasn't planning on it. :v:
Shit Post is Shit.
Hey man, I just saved time! Unless Edgar Allen Poe was lying to me, he wouldn't do that right? Did any of this actually happen?

Went to the indoor range today, broke in the new M1 Carbine. Planning on getting the paratrooper stock for it.
Same needs to happen in Illinois now.
Then we need a bill that will allow permits from one state to be honored in all other states.
