From what I've heard the Type 38, and its round, are fairly stable and flat-firing. Sure it's not a necessarily good looking rifle, but it's reputed to be accurate, as long as it's not last-ditch, and this one's dated well before being last-ditch. Also, to me "shitty" tolerances means a paperclip can poke the mechanism and it falls apart, to me being able to withstand 4 times the pressure makes the Arisaka built to good tolerances, or possibly "loose" tolerances.
Not much cosmetically has changed, but I think I'm proud of my handywork! I took apart the bolt (which was piss easy), and spent an hour cleaning, oiling and working an obstruction out of the barrel. The bore is spotless and as far as I see, there's not a lick of rust inside it. I took the scope off to look it up separately, the scope is going for 30$ on gunbroker. Now I just need to find a place to shoot it.
2 questions. What is it and is that a plate holder?

He was referencing the .22 (I assume it is), which is most certainly not an Arisaka. Prussel, however, was referencing my images earlier of an Arisaka.

Are you making a point or do you enjoy the blue text field?
he made it boring at least paint it some kinda deserty color, and chip off some paint so it looks all rugged hardcore operator tier 1
I knew I should of made it neon blue with a red bubble pattern damn damn damn
I've got a question with regards to the Arisaka; Almost every picture I see the wood has a groove in it, presumably for grabbing and resting one's fingers in, it's usually near the top of the stock, like this: Mine doesn't have that. Is it because it's a rifle with a mismatched last-ditch stock? Did someone remake the stock when they brought it back and neglected that detail? Did they not start including that groove until later in production? Basically, why isn't that groove there?
Behold my range target from today. Small holes were .22 the guy before me was shooting. Range was 50 yards.
2 questions. What is it and is that a plate holder?
Mossberg & Sons Model 152K .22 LR And Yes, it works quiet well actually.
Where are you in Illinois?
Rockford. Right next to buttfuck county that doesn't allow jack-tits when it comes to firearms.
Rockford. Right next to buttfuck county that doesn't allow jack-tits when it comes to firearms.
Cool, I know some people from Rockford. Been up there many times myself. We should somehow arrange a meetup.
Forget the International Crimes Court, I found the solution to the Joseph Kony problem on Gunbroker: http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=276753102

They also had an M1A1...with aircraft mounts.

I feel sorry for the Aussies here, I just heard they want to limit gun owners there to 2-3 guns after finding some guy with 14 of them.
I feel sorry for the Aussies here, I just heard they want to limit gun owners there to 2-3 guns after finding some guy with 14 of them.
How many people did he kill?
People seem to forget that guns don't kill people, people do. Maybe we should just ban humans, that'll solve the crime problem.
People seem to forget that guns don't kill people, people do. Maybe we should just ban humans, that'll solve the crime problem.
Why don't we just ban murder, robberies, rape and drugs? This way they'll no longer be a problem. Oh wait.
People seem to forget that guns don't kill people, people do. Maybe we should just ban humans, that'll solve the crime problem.
Liberals love arguing that one. The funniest one I saw was people talking about innocent kids caught in crossfire, and "the gun did it." Didn't a person pull the trigger? Same concept as blunt force attacks.
