Fairly sure the AUG is a solid gun that was way ahead of its time.
Uhm, the AUG is one of the best guns out there, even today, that list doesn't really do anyo f the guns justice.
Man, I love the AUG... then again it is the only Semi-auto centerfire I have shot.
SMLE labeled as moist nugget, lewis labeled as belt clip. Yeah, nah.
Fairly sure the AUG is a solid gun that was way ahead of its time.
Apparently the earlier ones had a terribad trigger. I think it's been addressed though in the newer models. MSAR STG-556 is also a good clone from what I've heard from friends whom I trust to know their shit.
SMLE labeled as moist nugget, lewis labeled as belt clip. Yeah, nah.
joke you
joke you
Nah, I saw a different version with the correct names somewhere. Other captions were also fixed, it was definitely funnier.
Welp, bought a Blackhawk Level III SERPA Holster for my P99, the first belt loop screw came off fine, jsut some old glue inside for some reason, but the other one is sealed tight to the female part and because that is round and doesnt have any friction, it jsut keeps on turnin' and I cant unscrew it. Consulted a metal specialist and he couldnt figure a way to get them apart either, so now i have the belt loop with a stuck all scratched up screw, sendign that alone back to the sller and he's sending me a belt loop which he said he unscrewed fine, if he gives me any shit for the scratches imma flip.
Odd. I got a SERPA for my SIG 2022 and it's amazing. Didn't have any problems with the screws :l Off to the shop to see if I can't find a nice lever gun. Wish me luck.
Any of my fellow peeps from Arizona State University know if we have a gunclub or not? Facebook was useless and Google let me down for the first time in awhile.
Been using the AUG for 5 years now, haven't had a problem at all, I can strip the thing in my sleep at this stage.
Been using the AUG for 5 years now, haven't had a problem at all, I can strip the thing in my sleep at this stage.
You own an AUG? How much did it cost?
I'd love an MSAR STG-556, but I don't have $2200+.
Been using the AUG for 5 years now, haven't had a problem at all, I can strip the thing in my sleep at this stage.
Can you strip yourself in your sleep?
Can you strip yourself in your sleep?
Yes, I got so hammered one night I blacked out halfway up the stairs, I woke up almost in bed the morning after with clothes in a trail along the hallway and stairs.

I'll get one for CC :v:
hahahaha
I can't help but wonder how magazine restrictions for that would work here, would each of the 2 mags be treated separately, or would they treat them as one mag, requiring each to be pinned to 5 rounds, to achieve the overall 10 round limit allowed in pistols?

G3 fo sail. Now what, L1A1 or G3....
Where can I buy one? I seriously want one. [editline]9th March 2012[/editline]
G3 fo sail. Now what, L1A1 or G3....
Where from? I'll buy whichever one you don't.
Local guy is selling this $1000
and what's up with that odd flash hider?
Ribbed for your anal pleasure
It's a brake, and he tells me the ribs are on there to aid in cooling the barrel. The barrel actually comes up to just shy of the brake slots on it, so that is a sleeve that cover's most of the exposed barrel.
Where from? I'll buy whichever one you don't.
Both from GAT Guns, a store that's an hour's drive away. They have G3s out the ass, and even original wood L1A1s [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] We want something to burp off these NATO rounds we've had sitting around. Benefit of G3 is that it's one of the cheapest guns there and there's a lot of them. Benefit of L1A1 is that they're made here in Illinois, but they're 'spensive.

I kinda forgot about them though. Might need to check back into them now. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] My dad's friend actually gets most of his stuff from GAT.

Wish me luck.
Well the glue inside those screws (There seems to be soemthign liek that in the other one) is all fucked from the way it was stored (Yknow, packaging isnt sealed and the loop is '10, holster '09 production run), either it's been screwed in too hard, was running a few extra loops which scratched the fricition holes or in some other way sealed up. But the design of the nut is just impossible to work with. Anyway, should get replacement on monday.
hahahaha
Say what you want, I'd totally get one. Also, dat accent. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Wait a sec though, since it fires 2 rounds at once, wouldn't it be classed as a machinegun?

[editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Wait a sec though, since it fires 2 rounds at once, wouldn't it be classed as a machinegun?
Looks like it has two independent triggers. [editline]10th March 2012[/editline] Never mind. It has two triggers, but pulling either one drops both hammers and fires 2 rounds. The manufacturer thinks that something about their action will allow them to receive BATF approval, but it seems unlikely.
Should I go for a CETME or a Glock-17? I'm kinda leaning towards the Glock right now since I really want a handgun.
Should I go for a CETME or a Glock-17? I'm kinda leaning towards the Glock right now since I really want a handgun.
Get both if you can... but I tend to agree a Glock would be very cool. Just make sure you get a CETME next...
I only have emone for one, I'm not a rich man. Now the only decision is if I should get a Glock-17 or whatever the one is called that is the same dimension as the 17 but fires .45ACP.
