So apparently there's a bill that they're trying to push through Congress that would end Cold-War-era trading bans. That might include the import ban.

Weren't the gun-related import bans put in place after the fall of the soviet union? Regardless, if the US gets to import TOZ-123s it's the day I definitely move.

Imagine using that for home defense, there'd be nothing left of the poor bastard. [editline]12th March 2012[/editline] WHERE THE FUCK DO YOU BUY 4-GAUGE SHELLS

http://www.gunauction.com/search/displayitem.cfm?itemnum=10342728 there's one of these for $125 at my local pawnshop (1901). I know with some older guns you would HAVE to hand-load so you dont break it, would this be the case?
Damn what did they refinish that thing with, a steel scrub brush?

About the same age, I know it's late 1800s. He got another beat to shit one for free, still fires, but it says Ivory & Johnson on it. (it's got the logo and stamp) It's a .32 and looks a lot like the H&R one, I don't know much about either company tough. Also, I guess my friend just fires factory .32 through his, but thats his one.
Love my Blackhawk Hoslter so far :3
Just shot my first gun, started out with some Walther 9mm but moved on to a CZ-75b. I'm fucking hooked.

Sadly I can't find any articles, it may have just been hype.
BAHAHAHAHA also, this
Shot my first guns while on vacation overseas. First gun was an M16A2 if I remember right, it had single and auto on its fire selector. It was everything I expected it to be, little to no recoil, very lightweight, and pretty accurate. Next I shot an AK47 or maybe some other variant, I'm not to keen on recognizing different rifle variants, I remember the guy loading 7.62 rounds into the magazine. It was really something else I did not expect. For one its weight was heavier than I expected, its kick was stronger than I thought too but it I liked it, it was harder to keep it on target but it was my first time shooting one. Afterwards I shot an M14, had it set up with its bipod deployed on a small sturdy table while I sat behind it in a chair, its kick was noticeably harder than the AK even though they were shooting the same caliber, it was way heavier, and good lord the kick, I felt it in my shoulder the whole ride home. The most memorable thing about shooting though was the smell of gunpowder, it was so enticing. I want to shoot some more, I can't wait to buy my first gun. Probably start off with a pistol, maybe a M1911. It's so sexy. Last time on the range before I went home I shot the M16 again, the guy was nice enough to let me load the cartridges into the magazine and load the gun myself. Since I shot it before I knew what to expect and that time around was my best session the whole vacation. While I shot the guy working there told me which part of the target to shoot at, 3 in the head, 3 in the chest, and 2 wherever I wanted. Grouping was nice with 4 of the chest shots really close to the center, 3 of the shots to the head grouped real nice as well and the last round going through the target's ear giving it a nice earring. I don't remember the range at which I was shooting, I'm assuming its "regulation" distance if there is one.

Am I bad for liking that gun?
Not really. Some kammerat took a run of the line M67 and made it pretty. I'm doing the same if I get one. I wouldn't put a silencer on it, though. [t]http://www.kammeret.no/bilder/albums/userpics/11890/3.jpg[/t]
Stock too fat before cutting off abruptly, no ironsights. 2/10 would not bang.
Was looking at this. What you guys think? http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/58082-55.html
I'd say that's about as good you can get a gun for that price. I Norway, the scope alone would cost that, but from what I heard (experienced gunsmiths both of them, one is even importing scopes) the scopes that will last you a lifetime are Zeiss, Docter, Schmidt & Bender and Swarovski's in the $5000 and upwards range.
M59s and M67s only had diopter or aperture sights mounted on the rear bridge. The standard barrel is also xboxhueg and probably close to a metre long.
Well that's just nicer. The short-barreled one just looks... odd.
Meopta scopes are actually pretty good for their price, and some models are made Zeiss with Zeiss parts :v:
.308Win and 7,62x51 doesn't need a super long barrel. 40-50cm is just fine. Why have a 70cm barrel when you can save half a kilo of weight and make it more rigid by shortening it?
Well, my comment was only about the looks of it. It has some kind of "dude wat" appeal.

Found out the issue with my AK btw. Some of the screws holding the barrel were loose. Fixed it, and I'm planning on selling it soon. I'm going to possibly use the money I get to buy myself a .22LR for Hunting or buy a Mosin Nagant from the local Sportsmen Warehouse.

Also, I found a source for Canada-legal Makarovs... I kinda want a Makarov at some point in my life, but God do these things look ugly to be legal here... I HATE that barrel extension. It makes it legal here, but IMO it looks fucking retarded. The site, Interammo, is also, like, the only place to find 9mm Makarov in the damn country... Also, it's the Baikal made "sporting" model, because the military ones don't have that retarded barrel extension.
