Let's say I wanted to buy a replica black powder muzzle loading rifle, where should I look? By replica I mean original size and working, not a model.

I just found my dad's birthday gift, thank you!
They have them at Gander Mountain, too. In big plastic sealed packages like batteries.
Holy crap, I had no idea Cabela sold musket kits! I just found my dad's birthday gift, thank you!
Well make sure the card says, "Happy Birthday from the Internet Commandos!"
This just in: you should only carry a handgun if you intend to use it as a throwing weapon. :downs:
This just in: I never stated don't carry rounds with you. Only stated the fathers lack of caring for his firearm ended with the death of his child. Of course though... Magical throwing weapon's weight disappearing from your holster is something that happens all the time.

And then make our Anti-Air PSL mount?

Get that mlp crap out of here. If you really have the need to do this, go to the crossdressing/transgender megathread.
Get that mlp crap out of here. If you really have the need to do this, go to the crossdressing/transgender megathread.
That thread has nothing to do with mlp and most of the people there despise it as much as you do. Anyway, is open carry legal in New York? Just wondering.
I can't unsee this...
you do notice almost everyone in this thread own guns, right?

I know conceal and carry is legal with permits obviously, but not open.
Anyone know of a good lever-action gun that loads and unloads from the side of the gun chambered in a round like .357mag or .44mag and the like?
Anyone know of a good lever-action gun that loads and unloads from the side of the gun chambered in a round like .357mag or .44mag and the like?
Why not just get a Winchest 1894 like I have it's a side loader but it's chambered in 30-30.
Why not just get a Winchest 1894 like I have it's a side loader but it's chambered in 30-30.
I feel like the price of the gun and ammunition would be less for a smaller caliber
Why not just get a Winchest 1894 like I have it's a side loader but it's chambered in 30-30.
We've got one at our store in .357, so they exist. [editline]16th March 2012[/editline]
I feel like the price of the gun and ammunition would be less for a smaller caliber
Nope, about the same cost for a .357 1894 as a .30-30 one.

They're excellent good fun which I can recommend without skipping a beat. I'd stay away from the Puma's and such. They're...A bit patchy. [editline]16th March 2012[/editline]
Nope, about the same cost for a .357 1894 as a .30-30 one.
Well 357 ammunition works out to be cheaper in the long run.

And It can obviously be converted to fire fully automatic bullets whenever you want!
How much do they go for?
What a lever 30-30 or .357? Low end around 300 bucks state side all the way up into the thousands.
