apparently, Kalinka sells kalashnikov-type side mounts for nuggets compatible with both ak and svd type mounts hmm what about a nugget with an PSO or PSOP?
Do you have a link?
Watching the Sons of Guns about the suppressed 50 cal...fucking crazy.
People laugh at putting a suppressor on the 50 cal but the application is awesome. It really does help with the blowback gas.
(Ignore the normal AK and the raped AK) Some guy on /k/ did this to his Saiga. I think I kinda like it.
Is white like the Siberian winter, I like it!
Thinking of doing that to a Saiga and painting "MNU" on the stock for shits and giggles.
People laugh at putting a suppressor on the 50 cal but the application is awesome. It really does help with the blowback gas.
I don't laugh at the concept of a .50 Suppressor... I laugh at the T.V Show that did it.
So I am considering getting a Nagant M1895 and a Mosin. I'm looking at www.classicfirearms.co They have the 1895 for $100 and a Chinese Type 53 Mosin for $150. Are these good prices? (At first I was kind of iffy about the Chinese Mosin but after looking up the Type 53 it actually sounds very nice. Supposed to be a Cavalry Mosin with a folding bayonet. Also where can I find the 7.62x38mmR for the Nagant revolver and the 7.62x54mmR for the Mosin? The Classic Firearms website doesn't carry it.

Both rounds can be found in bulk at Cabela's, Bass Pro Shop, or any other self respecting gun store.(Ok maybe not Nagant Revolver Ammo, but that shit ain't rare either.)

Lowest I've seen a Nagant Revolver go for is $80. As far as ammo is concerned: www.jgsales.com www.cheaperthandirt.com They'll have you covered. There are others out there. Mind you Nagant revolver ammo is kinda pricey and difficult to find online these days. [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] http://www.cabelas.com/ And another
Could you link me to where you've seen the Mosin Nagant and Nagant Revolver cheaper? I understand there comes a point where you need to pay for quality but if I can get it at the same quality for 20-50 dollars cheaper I'll take it. [editline]21st March 2012[/editline] Also I know you probably can't but I might as well ask. Since the Nagant M1895 fires 7.62x38mmR, could it fire 7.62x37mmR? Or would that be too short?

Anyhoo, where I've seen it cheaper and still somewhat nice quality: Mosin Nagants http://www.jgsales.com/mosin-nagant-91-30-round-receiver-rifle,-7.62x54r-caliber.-p-1041.html http://www.jgsales.com/mosin-nagant-91-30-round-receiver-laminated-stock,-7.62x54r,-w-special-select-bores.-p-1337.html But looking at those Chinese Type 53's, they're like an M44, something different about them. Russian Nagant http://www.jgsales.com/russian-1895-nagant-revolver,-in-7.62-nagant-caliber.-no-holster.-p-1059.html Though when you add the shipping and all that together it adds up to the same price as what you've found :/
So nobody has a link to that AK Scope mount for the nagant? It looks sexy, IMO.
General rule of thumb is to only fire what your weapon is chambered in, at least that's what I'd recommend.
I would have hoped that such a thing would be beyond recommendation :v:
Well unless you'd like to hold a pipebomb while it blows up of course.

You can usually find M 91/30s for 80-100 bucks, M44 carbines (of which the Chinese one is a copy of) for a little but more. Even check out some local gun stores, because Mosins are pretty common, and you can save some cash by not having to deal with an FFL transfer (which could wind up costing half the Mosin). Just know that these guns run cheap, and don't get ripped off. Also you can buy cylinders for the M1895 that let it shoot .32 ACP for about 60-70 bucks, which lets you shoot it for cheap. .32 is still kinda hard to find, but its cheaper than 7.62x38R for damn sure.
Regarding the videos on page 45: Did they ever do Wax Slugs on ballistic gel?

Do you know if either of those Mosins have the side folding Bayonet like the Type 53 does? I really liked that aspect of it. Don't ask me why. I doubt I'll ever use it. But I guess I want the option to flip open a giant knife and charge at something or someone screaming like a retard at some point in time :v:
We're getting a Bayonet for the Bulgarian AK-47 (Or is it AKM, I can't tell) once it's built. $W@G
Regarding the videos on page 45: Did they ever do Wax Slugs on ballistic gel?
I haven't seen any with Wax Slugs. But they did do tests with cut shells. If you haven't gathered from Iraqveteran8888's videos, they have absolutely rubbish penetration but are ridiculously lethal on initial impact. I'd also imagine them being pretty crap at longer distances. [editline]22nd March 2012[/editline]
Hey thanks man. I haven't found any online. You're going to have to look around in local firearm dealerships for those.
I just ended up reading a bit on the UN's latest Arms Trade Treaty, and have concluded it's a gargantuan load of bullshit. The UN is just worried about people being able to stop them from forming a global dictatorship, and of course the left here is disappointed that countries brainwashed by our anti-gun lobby, like Mexico, Brazil, and Argentina, are angry that Canada asked for an exception to this for hunting and sporting arms. Man, fuck the UN.
Went to a couple stores today to look at gun lockers. I looked at the CZ455. Thumbhole, Varmint, American and FS models. I'm going for either a Thumbhole or FS. .22LR The FS is incredibly unique (Possibly only FS in entire Norway, guy at gunstore picked it up at the CZ factory himself). I want one, but I don't like the Bavarian comb :suicide: Probably going with the thumbhole in .22LR, buying a .17HMR barrel+mag and a decent scope+mount.
i would go for the FS just because i have a thing for mannlicher stocks
Thinking about getting a gun when I start getting a paycheck again. I want an ar-15, I'll probably get a 10/22 first though
