Congratulations! (I passed with 48/50 when I took it :v: (those fucking birds))
But since you didn't get a full score, do you know what a grouse is? :v: Just teasing you, hope you'll be well armed and well fed.

It's a burd. Just placed the order for my M1895 Nagant and 84 rounds of ammunition for it. Should be in on Friday and my Mosin is already there. I'm so excited I can't fucking wait.
dassa nice scope
No, it's a $22 scope. We don't have high hopes. [editline]28th March 2012[/editline]
why you ever would think of mounting a scope 20cm over the comb, and then on the dustcover is completely beyond me.
We didn't want to drill or pin the SKS at all, so we got a scope mount specifically designed to replace that part. It works surprisingly well.
i'm really unsure whether i should get a silencer or not for the 455 thumbhole i don't want to fuck up the 22mm varmint barrel with a 14mm section..
Ask 'em nicely to make you a matching thread protector, they will at the most will charge you $90(500-600 NOK) for it. Also, I can thread any of your guns for a low price, if you can't do it yourself. [editline]29th March 2012[/editline]
No, it's a $22 scope. We don't have high hopes. We do have 2 SKS's. One with a scope, one without. The one with the scope is Yugoslavian. Also, if we were to have the scope anywhere else, it would probably interfere with the stripper clip feeding system, or be uncomfortable. We're happy with the way we have it, and that's what matters.
Oh my God, it actually pisses me off to listen to some of the COLOSSAL FUCKING IDIOTS from this country who go and talk in favour of gun control, they're literally so fucking stupid it angers me that anyone could be that ignorant and idiotic. I wish I could have just 15 minutes to try and yell some Goddamn sense into them, but I already know it would fall on deaf ears.
Commie, prove them right buy a gun and kill them. Do it :v:
Commie, prove them right buy a gun and kill them. Do it :v:
This is literally the stupidest fucking shit I've heard all day. I'd prefer to demolish their reputations by publicly showcasing they're wrong, I'd rather not throw my life away and make shit worse for gun owners here.

Wow, Glock 1911. Basically my 2 favorite handguns smashed together. Not bad.
Dear gun people, I'm on vacation, and tomorrow I'm heading out to a nearby gun range (http://pistolsplusguns.net/) to shoot some pistols for the very first time in my life. I was just wondering as to what gun I should pick to rent out and buy ammo for.
Beretta 92fs Glock 17 Glock 19 Glock 26 Glock 22 Glock 23 Glock 27 Glock 21 Kel-Tec Ruger P89 Ruger SR9 Ruger MKIII 22/45 Ruger MKIII S&W Mod 10 S&W 22A S&W 422 S&W 642 S&W 28 4" S&W 28 6" 4" Springfield XD 9 4" Springfield XD 40 5" Springfield XD 45 Springfield XDm 5.5 Springfield Gi Taurus 605 Taurus 94 Walther PK380
Firstly I'm looking for something that a complete beginner can handle and learn with, but I'd like to use something a bit more larger caliber and fun if I can handle it, albeit without making a fool of myself. Any thoughts? (Also, what should I be expecting and/or know beforehand before heading in?)
Going to pick up an M44 next week. Already looking forward to scrubbing cosmoline.

If you feel up to it, I'd bump up to a Glock 17 or the Beretta 92 for a 9mm, or the Springfield GI for a .45
You probably can't go wrong if you start off with the Ruger Mk III and then work your way into one of the many Glock models they have. I'm wondering what Kel-Tec model they have because some of them are quite nice.

(Also, what should I be expecting and/or know beforehand before heading in?)
First things first, reinforce some rudimentary gun safety. While most ranges gives first timers instructions, can't hurt to know how to handle a gun beforehand. Always be aware of where the muzzle is pointing and whether you have cleared the chamber or not. If in doubt, ask the staff. I'd usually recommend .22 LR for a beginner, but if you really do want to jump right into a larger caliber, I'd probably say 9mm. Try a Glock or a Springfield. See if your range has a one time rental fee (only pay once and you can switch it out for any other gun), which will offer you more opportunity to try out different pistols. If you decide to go with a .22, I highly recommend the MKIII. Oh and if you want to try a revolver, you can shoot .38 Special out of a .357.

(Also, what should I be expecting and/or know beforehand before heading in?)
Stick with .22lr if you can/ only want to shoot pistols... contrary to popular belief it is hard to hit targets with pistols if you haven't shot them a lot. Also pistols are much easier to muzzle people with so be VERY careful where the gun is pointing. And remember 1. It's always loaded and 2. Don't point at it unless you intend to destroy it. Oh and 3. Shoot a lot and if you miss who gives a damn! HAVE FUN!
I want to shoot some guns right now, I haven't shot one in a couple of months :(

unfortunately fake. in the off chance that Glock actually produced a 1911 it would have a polymer frame and glock safe action and probably have G40 stamped somewhere on it
Mosin carbine for easter? Fuck yes!
I love the Kriss Vector, but I don't think that thing will ever be sold here.

Under law, you're allowed to use lethal force IF the intruder has got a lethal weapon. So what? We're supposed to sit there waiting for them to pull out some weapon? Several times things like this has happened, and plenty of times, the owner of the home was charged. Fuck this country and its backwards gun laws. I don't mind the law where you can't own full auto's or semi automatics, but when you cant even use a firearm to defend yourself and your family, how does that make sense? Oh well, because of the steel buttplate of the mosin or enfield, I could just use that as a club with a spare round loaded just incase.
