Making a semi auto, automatic is not easy you would require some very good machining skills plus the all the machining equipment which can be very, very expenisve. To have all that for one gun would not make sense unless you are are some underground gang.
This piece of string is a registred machinegun. [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] Wait what that valmet is legal in Norway? I want one...
I think that's some form of a Finnish Valmet. Not 100% sure though. [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] Yep it is. Valmet M78
Damn, I wish I was issued one of those instead of a dreadfully worn-out RK-95 :c
So the FAL's banned here, the AK's banned here, but their Finnish bastard child is perfectly legal? What the shit?
Did you honestly believe logic played a part in the choosing of which guns are legal? It's because we Finns ain't commies like the Russians, or babby eaters like the Belgians :v:
I got to use the Austeyr, a Glock 12, a browning hi power, and a Minimi on wednesday, and I've got to say, the Austeyr is uncomfortable as fuck.

It's pretty simple: When the trigger is pressed, the slide goes back from the recoil after firing the round. When the slide goes forward again, it chambers a new round and immediately presses the trigger by pulling the string after enabling the trigger to fire again.
Or in Video Format... It does this:
I like the other bump-fire video with the crazy guy better v:v:v But that's just my opinion [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] Also apparently Tokarev 9mm conversion kits don't exist on the face of the planet but w/e Guess I'll just stock up.
To whoever was asking about the sliding stock for the AK: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xFVUQru2THo Also that Valmet is god damn sexy where can I buy one and how much can I expect to pay for it
Alright, went to the range today and got my "This Guy Can Handle Firearms" certificate. Next steps: - a clinic to proclaim official the "This Guy Is Mentally Sane and Totally Does Not Do Drugs" certificate - the LEOs to give them said certificates - a wait of TWO MONTHS, FUCK - gun license Whoop de fucking doo
I'm glad my country/state doesn't make me go through mental screening to get a gun. I'd fail faster than you could say zip bop wop dippity do dop.
Target was set up right behind my father (on the rocks just behind and above him). We think it was about 60 metres from out spot to the target. Out of 7 shots at the target, 6 hit and 5 were right in the middle. Bolt was removed whenever he was over checking the target, btw.
Where you shooting with the bayonet out or not? IIRC many of those were sighted in with the bayonet out, which, to me, makes no sense I mean I would only want the bayonet out when the range was so close the extra weight on the muzzle wouldn't really effect accuracy, i.e. with in point and shoot distances, like less than thirty feet.

I'd fail faster than you could say zip bop wop dippity do dop.
Well, to be honest I went to my local doc. She knows me and my family since we moved here (about 11-12 years ago) and assumed I was OK. The only tests were "Are you insane Y/N, do you use drugs Y/N". An actual medical exam would have probably resulted differently but hey, doc says I'm fine.

Are they speaking French?
Are they speaking French?
No shit Sherlock.
Would anyone have any information on a: "J. Rupertus, Philadelphia -- EMPIRE, 7 shot, 22 cal, spur trigger"? It's some weird 18th century revolver, and I can't find any information on it other than listings. The most I know about it is that the cylinder comes out for loading, and it fires .22 Short.
A C&R License is an 02 FFL. With the exception of CMP weapons, an FFL is the only way to have firearms shipped directly to you. And that was the FFL I was referring to. I believe that it being full auto precludes it being a C&R type weapon, and will need to wait the 8 months or so for the ATF to send back your paperwork before you can take posession. As for police officers, any new production machine guns must be purchased on police department letterhead, and will stay with the department, even if the officer that requested it leaves for whatever reason.
A Class 2 FFL is actually a manufacturer and dealer of firearms, while the type of FFL for C&R weapons is type 3. A C&R licence is a type of FFL which makes it possible to have those weapons classified as C&R weapons shipped to your house.
Certain automatic weapons have been designated as C&R firearms, and although a C&R FFL can be used to acquire these as well, they are also subject to the controls imposed by the National Firearms Act of 1934. ATF maintains a current list of approved C&R firearms on its website.
I somewhat misstated what I meant by that in regards to police. I was to mean you can purchase autos made before 1986 through the department without paying the ATF tax stamp.
http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=280748918 $3000
Fuck that. If I'm going to spend three grand I'm going to get an SVD Dragunov.
if I'm spending 3 grand, I'm getting 30 M91/30s [editline]7th April 2012[/editline] or a K31 and a fuckton of ammo
I agree with the Dragunov. If I had that kind of money for a gun I'd buy the fuck out of a Dragunov.
If I had $3k I'd buy an M1A then who knows what else.
If I had $3k, I'd make an Obrez, get a good AK and leave the rest for a rainy day.
If I had $3000 I'd immigrate to America and buy a Nugget. Australia's gun laws and politicians suck.
