3k... damn I wish. I'd be picking up an FAL and all the ammo I could. Oh wait, almost forgot the FAL is banned by name in my state... no amount of money in the world would allow me to get one (EVERYONE GIVE ME MONEY TO MOVE TO A MORE FRIENDLY REGION OF THE WORLD!)
If I had $3k, then I would have $3k.
If I had $3K I'd put it away for school. Maybe buy a McNugget Revolver...
If I had $3K I'd put it away for school. Maybe buy a McNugget Revolver...
I wanted to get a standard 1911, but college costs killed that plan. Maybe one day. I will just stick to the rifles and shotguns I already have.
I'll take ten:
So today, I just ordered myself a Saiga-to-AK conversion. I'll post pics whenever I get it in 2 weeks or so.
I'll take ten:
IRL Deus Ex guns ftw.
Behold, my impulse buy of the week. [img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/mNhfL.jpg[/img_thumb] Better pictures with pens incoming later.
If I had $3K I'd put it away for school. Maybe buy a McNugget Revolver...
I'll be getting a Nagant Revolver on Tuesday. Will probably shoot it Wednesday along with my Mosin. If you like I can upload some videos to youtube
Damn, my impulse buy was a bag of pretzels and a soda :(
Nothin wrong with that :v:
I'll be getting a Nagant Revolver on Tuesday. Will probably shoot it Wednesday along with my Mosin. My impulse buy. A mid 50's pump-action Savage 12 gauge shotgun. The finish is a bit worn, but it runs niiiice and smooth, and mechanically it's well taken care of, the bore is bright and clean when I got it. I love these older shotguns, not super valuable, but wonderfully dependable and usually built like a tank. I also dig the classic blued/wood look. The stock and foregrip is Walnut, which is how I dated it. It's barrel is about 27 inches, which is surprising because most of these older shotguns were cut down to around 18 inches. Anyone know how to dissassemble this one? I'd like to get in and clean the bore and internals rather thoroughly before I shoot it.
Do you guys think you could help me sort out the legal jargon of this thing? http://www.ups.com/content/us/en/resources/ship/packaging/guidelines/firearms.html I'm trying to help the guy that's selling the TT-33 to me figure this out, but we're having a bit of trouble sorting through it. [editline]8th April 2012[/editline] That being said, neither of us are 21 which knocks an FFL dealer completely out of the picture.
No, because I can't be buying it myself and I don't want to want it even more... At least... Not until I have my taxes back...
Too bad I'm going to record videos anyway. I want to see the reaction of people when I fire my Mosin. I heard about it from my Father when we were at the range but I want to SEE them jump and look into my lane like "WTF"

Where are you confused?
You bastards and your impulse buys. I wish I had impulse buy money. Ah well, I guess that's what tax returns are for, right?
I want a .357 magnum and only shoot .38 special through it for whatever reason. Or somehow get like a Deagle brand Deagle in .22 short, go to a gun range, and watch reactions.

[editline]8th April 2012[/editline] That being said, neither of us are 21 which knocks an FFL dealer completely out of the picture.
you're both supposed to have an FFL and you can only ship next day. it's only $30 for 3 years, you might as well do it.
You bastards and your impulse buys. I wish I had impulse buy money. Ah well, I guess that's what tax returns are for, right?
my impulse buy only cost me 70$ plus tax :D
you're both supposed to have an FFL and you can only ship next day. it's only $30 for 3 years, you might as well do it.
To have an FFL you need to be a business.
my impulse buy only cost me 70$ plus tax :D
That's awesome, I love that (some of) the older weapons are cheap, you can buy a piece of history, and it shoots!
you're both supposed to have an FFL and you can only ship next day. it's only $30 for 3 years, you might as well do it.
You mean a C&R license?
my impulse buy only cost me 70$ plus tax :D
I'll trade you costs! Mine was $550 :v:
You mean a C&R license?
c&r is a type of ffl but any ffl will allow you to do this
I'll trade you costs! Mine was $550 :v:
Trade guns? Sure!
You bastards and your impulse buys. I wish I had impulse buy money. Ah well, I guess that's what tax returns are for, right?
Yes and it's terrible On an impulse I bought a fucking fish tank with my tax return. Worst buy ever.
Any money I have left over either goes into upgrading my PC, or guns / ammo.
you're both supposed to have an FFL and you can only ship next day. it's only $30 for 3 years, you might as well do it.
What, no, you guys aren't getting what I'm asking here. Apparently it's legal to ship weapons in-state to another private citizen. The USPS refuses to do it, so what we're trying to figure out is what we need to get straight to be able to do it with UPS. I know all about the whole FFL situation, I've been around long enough to know that. I also mentioned that neither of us were 21...
As promised, a little late night gun porn for you guys.
