Anyone got info on the century arms g3 clone? I'm interesting in shelling out the dosh if it's worth it. Saw it at the local firearm outlet.
I got both of them from the same guy. His prices were amazing, and for some reason he haggled himself down on both of them. I'd ask him if he would do $590 on the Luger, he said he could do $580. The only problem with the Dreyse is the fact that it has no magazine, but I already have an M1900, and the magazines are interchangeable.
my jellyboner resonates with the waves of jealousy
Welp, looks like there's going to be a push to resurrect the Arizona State University Shooting and Marksmanship team, for casuals and professionals alike! Hazzah! However, one of our biggest issues is firearm storage at the moment, so I'm more than open to suggestions :X Keep in mind that it's illegal for us to store arms on campus, even if they're of olympic-grade marksmanship quality.
People on GunsAmerica are selling Mosin Nagants for $300 - $500... Not even collectors grade or anything special. Just standard infantry ones.

Got my M1895 Nagant today. Such a fucking sexy god damn revolver. Trigger pull is really fucking heavy though. I know double actions make it heavier since they cock the hammer and then release it but it feels like 15 pounds or so. That can't be right? Still. Sexy sexy sexy revolver.
Nagants always had a pretty stiff trigger pull, even compared to other DA revolvers. Now file some paperwork, get the right tax stamp and silence that shit. It's quieter than a BB gun.
http://www.nuovajager.it/scheda4.asp?id=201232718738 We Skorpions soon. For 650 yuros, folding stock and everything. Up next, VZ58s and (maybe) AK74s. Fuck, I never felt the need for money so much until now.
how do you go about owning non-mutilated assault rifles in Italy?
I'm sorry, but SMG style weapons in Semi-auto never really appealed to me.
how do you go about owning non-mutilated assault rifles in Italy?
With the most basic of permits you can own everything, except ofc banned stuff like full-autos, DDs and silencers. No AWBs ever happened here, the only limit is a cap for magazines, usually 5 to 10 depending on various things. Mostly 10 though. Plus, the lack of 922r is a godsend. I want a mosin, I'll probably buy myself one for my 18th birthday or something
maybe getting that romanian carbine moisant nug for my birthday TOMORROW
Happy birthday!

It lowers the trigger pull significantly, or so I hear. I've never tried it myself. I personally love the sound of a firearm going off. How old are you turning [editline]10th April 2012[/editline] Anyway do any of you guys happen to have a cleaning guide / disassembly / exploded view of the M1895? Similar to the one here: http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinDisassembly.htm I'd like to take this bad boy apart and clean the cosmoline out of it.

I want a Garand so bad.
I want a Garand so bad.
I love that thing so much. It was my first rifle and I know the thing inside and out.
Okay so I found a disassembly guide but the ramrod won't come fully out of the pistol. It says give it a half turn and pull it out, but it stops right under the rim of the barrel. Am I missing something?

20 and happy birthday to you too. How the fuck does the cylinder come out of this revolver :wtc:
Hi guys, I'm pretty new to firearms, but have been wanting a Mosin Nagant for a while now. I was wondering if this would be a good site to purchase one from, or if you could recommend me a better site. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/411540201
$110 is a fair bit more than I paid. Try here: http://www.classicfirearms.co/firearms.htm Do a page find (control + f) for "Check This Out" without quotations. $80 - $90 for a 91-30. I got mine there and I'm extremely happy with it.
I'm thinking about ordering a Plum Crazy Lower from ClassicArms for $130 and then buying an Del-Ton upper when they have them available ($400). I really want an AR, is that a bad idea?

Thinking of getting a Glock 22, any reason not to? I'm comfortable with both the Glock 17 frame and the .40S&W round.
Thinking of getting a Glock 22, any reason not to? I'm comfortable with both the Glock 17 frame and the .40S&W round.
I'd tell you not to get any Glock, but I'm biased so don't listen to me.
Really I want a Glock simply because of all the aftermarket support for them. They look ok and I guess they have a good reputation, although many owners are very biased.
