That's probably the best thing about Glocks, all the shit you can get for them.
glock owner here, glocks are the most reliable pistols you'll find anywhere. get ten of them

I'd personally go a wee bit darker.
where could i buy a bayonet for a K98k? I dont mind if its a repro, aslong as i can actually use it as a knife
I'm thinking about ordering a Plum Crazy Lower from ClassicArms for $130 and then buying an Del-Ton upper when they have them available ($400). I really want an AR, is that a bad idea?
Don't do it. The lowers are plastic, and they can crack pretty easily. Now I need a new strategy for cheaply acquiring an AR. Obviously not something that's crap. That's why I'm asking for advice
You really can't go wrong with a glock. We all have different preferences, but to me it's perfect in almost every way. I have a 22, but my old glock 36 was great for concealed carry.

I wonder what a mosin/garand would look like with purple heart wood...
I wonder what a mosin/garand would look like with purple heart wood...
probably a bit like garbage

I heard the ones from Frontier Armory are okay. I saw a review here:http://www.majorpandemic.com/2012/03/new-frontier-armory-lw-15-polymer-lower.html My co-worker has one, says he likes it so far.

I'll be using it as a range toy and home defense, Illinois doesn't have legal carry.

Whoever did that should be smacked.
$110 still isn't bad for an M91/30. It's not 2000 anymore.
Yes but why pay $110 when you can pay $80?

I see Molson, whoever did this lives in my country... I feel ashamed...
I agree. Molson blows.
That somehow manages to look worse than pony paintjobs.
Pretty sure Molson is available in the US.

Holy shit that looks impractical. At least I hope it's accurate.
Why spend a shitload of your time searching the internet for a $90 one and pay shitloads in S&H+fees when you can walk to a gunstore five minutes away and buy one for $110?
What shitload of time? I just linked him to a dealer for the thing. There's one bit down. Shipping is only like 30 dollars. Which is not bad. And the FFL Transfer is only another 30. The cheapest I've seen a Mosin-Nagant in an actual gun store was like $250 to $300. I'd rather spend $140 and wait two days than pay $250.

That's why I'm asking for advice
Get a whole rifle kit from Palmetto state armory. They have some decent priced entree level ar kits and builds, and it's quality as well. http://palmettostatearmory.com/ As for some of those pictures about plum crazy. First two look to be from dropping the gun on its butt. Ar's aren't exactly very tough compared to other fixed stock rifles when it comes to shock. That being said I admittedly don't own an AR or have vast experience with them simply because I refuse to buy one.
Just turned a cheap 12 gauge game load into a wax slug for my Mossberg 500.

Not sure about the 2nd The third pic, the guy released the rear takedown pin and the upper flipped. The delta ring hit the magwell and split it.
anybody got a good place to get cheap 7.62x54r? i remember one place had $77 for a can of 440, but i can't find it
Then you've been to the wrong places as people on /k/ buy nuggets for $100 retail all the time?
I called every store within an hour of me. Only 3 out of 15 had Mosin-Nagants in stock and the cheapest was $250.
