If the US were to collapse, it would likely simply lose a few territories or Alaska and Hawaii. If any states other than that were going to break away, the most likely would be Texas or California. New England might be better off by itself, but chances are they wouldn't break away.
Dunno why, but that reminded me of this
Faith in humanity: -1
Faith in humanity: -1
Gone.
It didn't fall in one day. It slowly declined, giving in to illegal immigrants. [editline]07:06PM[/editline] But the Republic only lasted about 500 years.
To make way for something much greater MUHUHUHUHUH.
Dude, it's just a "What if" scenario. Japan was also too proud to be easily invaded and occupied. Why do you think the Americans had to nuke the shit out of them and kill millions of civilians to make them accept a defeat? Not that I'm comparing the U.S.A. to what Japan was during WW2.
It wasn't millions of civilians. It was just under ~230,000. :eng101:
Japan was trying to surrender to the USSR, the nukings were unnecessary as far as WWII goes, but completely necessary to stop Soviet/Communist expansion in Asia.
Japan was trying to surrender to the USSR, the nukings were unnecessary as far as WWII goes, but completely necessary to stop Soviet/Communist expansion in Asia.
It's partly true. The Japanese were getting completely crushed by the Russian armour divisions. It was unprecedented. The Russians were also willing to invade (and most likely succeed) in annexing Japan. But who would want that eh? Would be kinder to nuke um.
you seem to forget my point, the Poles had armed resistance, they still lost A Chinese army could invade America from two fronts and systematically wipe out all Americans, thus taking down any resistance
Poland is also a much smaller country. I don't know much about the Chinese military but I doubt they have the know how and equipment to take a country almost as big as theirs. They may have the numbers, but I doubt they have any way of getting them and their supplies over here. Just like I doubt the U.S.A. could take and occupy China.
Also how would the Chinese be able to attack from two fronts with such a small navy in comparison to ours. I'd bet the war would be decided by sea long before it reached the coast. Especially with nations like South Korea and Japan constantly watching military movement in that area of the world.
This is how it'll go down.
:cawg: What bullshit. [editline]2:16PM[/editline] I could see all those republics appearing, but not because of countries taking over. I'd see them just happening because of decline of federal power and differences between ideas and people. China would absolutely never take over the west coast. China may have a big army, but it's a shitty one. Russia wouldn't get Alaska. I would expect Hawaii (and Alaska) to be independent. [editline]02:17PM[/editline] Also, why the fuck would the East coast be part of the EU? What the fuck?
How the fuck is the Philippines a puppet state?
Does having your foreign policy and military affairs controlled by another power not make you a puppet state? The Philippine Commonwealth in 1936 had as much independence as Canada in 1914.
You killed my automerge.
Fuck no, we cannot be invaded and occupied. Americans are way too proud for that. Your teacher is an imbecile.
"Your bullets can't hurt me, I'm proud!"
