The citizenry of the US is more heavily armed than most countries armies. I wouldn't try attacking us like that. :smug:
nobody cares about the mid-west and you square states.
Wyoming and Colorado are the only "Square" states. :crying:
The citizenry of the US is more heavily armed than most countries armies. My neighbor has an AAA piece, too.
Yep, Americas citizens can totally launch assaults on other countries.
Well, they could, it just has a low chance of accomplishing anything. Still, something I'd like to see.
Rome is roughly 3,700 years old actually. And we're not talking about the existance of the city, we're talking about the empire. Rome's internal struggle with Caesar never destroyed it, what history books are you reading?
Rome is a city. The Roman Empire is the Empire. Rome the city was founded in 750 BC. The Roman Empire begun in 27 BC.
If, through some insane occurrence we were invaded and our military was defeated, it would pretty much be the same thing that's happening in Iraq.
Yep, Americas citizens can totally launch assaults on other countries.
I mean in terms of total firepower. Not tech level.
I mean in terms of total firepower. Not tech level.
How many hunting rifles and AKs are equivalent to a single tank on your scale of firepower? Or an attack helicopter?
I mean in terms of total firepower. Not tech level.
what the fuck bro this isn't command and conquer
If, through some insane occurrence we were invaded and our military was defeated, it would pretty much be the same thing that's happening in Iraq.
Quick! Google "Michigan Militia"! Michigan will never fall! :patriotic:
I mean in terms of total firepower. Not tech level.
What use is firepower without the proper tech, against a decent of firepower with tech?? And I doubt that it would be more than any country even considering invading America.
How many hunting rifles and AKs are equivalent to a single tank on your scale of firepower? Or an attack helicopter?
Not really what you have that counts so much as how you use it.
what the fuck bro this isn't command and conquer
This Edit: Broke my automerge >:(
what the fuck bro this isn't command and conquer
What are you talking about? What does 'tech level' have to do with C&C?
What use is firepower without the proper tech, against a decent of firepower with tech?? And I doubt that it would be more than any country even considering invading America.
Guns are completely mechanically, what tech are you talking about?
Not really what you have that counts so much as how you use it.
It's not hard to make Molotov Cocktails. Or IED's. Look at the insurgents in Iraq.
What are you talking about? What does 'tech level' have to do with C&C?
If a player reaches a higher tech level in C&C they get access to better but more expensive units. It's a common tactic, which is known as rushing, to instead create more of the weaker units.
Did Rome look like it could fall at its height in power?? No. But it fell eventually, whats to say America won't??
Rome didn't have the threat of mutually assured destruction at their disposal.
If a player reaches a higher tech level in C&C they get access to better but more expensive units. It's a common tactic, which is known as rushing, to instead create more of the weaker units.
Oh, like Zerg rushing. :v:
Guns are completely mechanically, what tech are you talking about?
Erm.. UAV recon?? Honestly I think he's talking about tanks/attack choppers etc.
So true :buddy:
Rome didn't have the threat of mutually assured destruction at their disposal.
They're not the only country with that threat.
Oh, like Zerg rushing. :v:
Only on Facepunch would we compare real life wars to video games.
Erm.. UAV recon?? Honestly I think he's talking about tanks/attack choppers etc.
Although it was brought up patrolling built up areas with a tank or attack chopper is a bad idea or rather difficult. You have to assume they won't use those copters and tanks to just wreck your city, and try killing enough of the grunts on the ground the invading nation's public becomes tired of the war... Or something like that.
They're not the only country with that threat.
Yes that would be why it's called mutually assured destruction. Does not in any way change my point.
Only on Facepunch would we compare real life wars to video games.
Except we do it accurately.
Except we do it accurately.
The fat ones cost thirty french fries more but absorb more bullets.
Quick! Google "Michigan Militia"! Michigan will never fall! :patriotic:
Shit, we have a militia in Michigan? Oh, wait, virtually defunct since 2000. Oh well.
Yes that would be why it's called mutually assured destruction. Does not in any way change my point.
Whoops.. [editline]01:29AM[/editline]
The fat ones cost thirty french fries more but absorb more bullets.
25 if you have a higher tech level
