Just a little something I got to mess around with without being too expensive.

just got a JG G36

anything i should put on it?
Not sure what I'd put on there, 'cept maybe some sort of close combat optics. EOTech would look p. dope imo.
Ive seen an ACOG on a G36C once, it looked cool I guess
Meh, ACOG on a G36 seems to be hilariously tall to me.
Aimpoint with a low mount would look better.
I find almost any optic aside from a red dot on a G36 looks pretty bad.

rails should accept most, if not all grips...
as for sight get a M68CCO replica which is pretty much every other red dot on any airsoft site

Not sure what I really think of that. I like it, but it looks a tad bit plane is design for me. Reminds me of a G3.

You should see if you can get a conversion kit to make the folding stock version.

I don't like it, but it'd be a nice option if I ever need it. I rather grab a mounting rail and left side selector mod first.
It's strange, for a Chinese clone it's pretty good. It has the little button on the right and the hook on the left for the folding stock so I think it'd work.

Yeah my buddy had one, really the only issue he had was batteries and his hop up slowly destroyed itself.
But after a hop up replacement, it was a sweet gun. Three round bust is rad as hell.
Just fired it. I love the three round burst, god is it sweet. It's also perfect for me, since I always tend to spray in auto. It has some really, really nice range on it too.
Battery is a bitch in and a half to get in and out of the handguard though. I put some tape around the end of it so it's black instead of bright green. It's not as ugly when you see it through the holes now. I added a IDF One-Point Sling mount at the base of the stock and a IDF One-Point Bungee and it's great so far.

My friend always had trouble getting the battery in his TM Type 89. That along with the creaky foregrip were the only things I didn't like about it.
The foregrip doesn't creak. It's just a really, really difficult affair to try and get the battery, fuse and connectors all in exactly the right place, along with both foregrips to be able to push both of them up at once and lock them into place. I'm already starting to get the hang of it, you have to have the battery facing a certain way and the handguard connections to the barrel are higher up than you think.
The gun has some heft to it. I think it's one of the only guns I have where you can feel the bungee actually keeping tension on the rifle.
Oh god now this thread is making me want a Type 89.
