I just watched that video a couple of minutes ago all I can say is that I like what I'm seeing and that is the only M4/M16 variant that has ever caught my attention I'll be watching Real Swords line up in the near future for sure.

Sort of, but this might have a harder kick.
If it's electromagnetic then I can just see it draining batteries that much faster.

I'm not sure. Arclight wasn't really specific about the SVD. All he said was that it was the most specific AEG SVD on the market.

My JG G3. Poor thing just stopped working right in the middle of a match 2 years ago for no reason that I could see at all. Battery fully charged no jam or anything.

But doesn't "hybrid gas/electric" imply that gas is actually being used somewhere? For the KWA ERG system and RS's electromagnetic thing, there's no gas involved, they're just different methods for electric blowback that have more kick than the more common mechanical or pneumatic systems.

I know what it could be and probably is. In your gearbox there should be a metal tab behind the trigger that keeps it from resetting too far back. That tab probably broke off and thats why your gun stopped running. I have a JG G3 as well that did the same thing back when they first came out, and I have seen several other people who have had that problem.

My rifle finally came in last night.

The scope is a large as my my arm, finger tips extended, to my elbow. It is VERY nice though.
The body of the gun is a Well MB08, so it has the monopod in the back, the fluted barrel, and the folding stock. Almost none of the internals are stock, if any. He still hasn't told me what they are, but they appear to be the PDI internals for the most part, with a laylax zero trigger system.

I got it from someone i know. I traded him my 2 GBB pistols for it. He more gifted the sniper to me because he thinks i could use it more. The note and dead eotech were just in the box with the rifle. along with a pair of OD coveralls, and a yo-yo.
