Drill a mount into the right side of the frame to sit over the slide. I'll photoshop something up. (never actually does it) It needs to be thin so it doesn't get in the way of your hand but you can do it. Makarovs are small but heretics gonna heretic so lul w/e.

Once I slept with my Glock under my pillow haha. Anyways, just put them somewhere you can't get at them. In my house I'm usually barefoot, and the workshop I keep my guns in has a concrete floor, so in the winter it's cold as hell on your feet and usually I can't be bothered to go put socks on to go grab them.

The SRC ones are decent really, a bit shoddy feeling but I've heard it said they were pretty nice.
Also, personally I've never cared for them. I just don't like the look of them, and apparently the handguards have a nasty tendancy to melt (from what I've read anyway).
I never cared much for XM8. G36 is where it's at v:v:v

I'm pretty sure the Gen 3 SRC ones are good. I almost bought one too but my friends stopped playing airsoft and I was too worried about the risks at the border.
