Painted the stock on the CM M16A4. Got a CW flash hider from my friend. All it needs is a Dboys M5 RAS and I'm done. M203 added because my friend wanted to see what it would look like.

Shitty phone picture since all my cameras are constantly broken, i apologize. Painted the plastic stock my M14 came with in preperation for adding some camo to it. It's hard to see due to the sun but it's greyish. Gonna add some camo patterns to it later. I just put it on to see how it looked, pretty pleased with how it turned out, actually. Hopefully going to use this for urban if i ever go.
That looks like ice camo. I like it. Don't make the camo bad, ok?
Ooh, make it a light tan, that'd look dope for urban.
My wood stock is already kind of light tan. And i hope i don't make the camo look bad either. I'm just waiting to get some spraypaint.
Am I the only one who thinks that looks kickass, useful or not?
Nope. Reminds me too much of a less than lethal variant. Like how 870's that use bean bag rounds for the police come in neon orange or green.

Keep it blue. Invade the ocean.
Spray it blood red, hide it in your enemies's body's.
Rubber bullets.
7.62 NATO rubber bullets I dont even
Gonna paint it up similar to this since i'm a huge nerd. But with bigger hexagons.
7.62 NATO rubber bullets I dont even
Fine then. Training weapon.
I only found one picture of camo similar to that IRL and it was on an australian trailer or something. Would be cool to see it in use on other stuff, hexagons are underrated.
I wonder if I could make a tile-able version of that Cell camo, maybe I'll give a whack at it later today. [editline]6th April 2011[/editline] Fuck hexagons are really hard to work with... Fuck this.
Get hexagon grid paper and yeah. also sry bbz i dont wanna sex u up
But the camo pattern itself doesn't follow a true hexagon pattern, some of the hexaons are staggered and don't line up perfectly.
The base pattern is perfectly lined up, it just has smaller hexagons scattered around. I'm not quite doing it like that, though. This is the stencil i'm using for the underside of the barrel: Gotta make a few more stencils i can place around the gaps between the main patterns, so there's no huge un-camouflaged spots.
This is my shot. I had to fill in some holes and fool around with colours but I think I got a pretty good representation of it, maybe a little lighter.
I'll give the template a shot later tonight or tomorrow, kept thinking about how you could actually paint it during class.
As much as i'd love to do it like that, the way i'm doing it is pretty simplified since it'd take forever to cut out a stencil for that.
:ussr: Only thing I'm miffed about is that the G&G magazine (not pictured) is way too curvy for an Ak74 mag, but the other AK74 mags on asgi are more expensive so I guess I'll deal w/ it.
