I'd probably like to get a job at an airsoft store and help people with their purchasing needs.
Awesome; when we're in our late 30s or something, we could make a private business together and make kickass shit :v: I wouldn't mind making blueprints for pretty much every gun posted in the which guns you wish were made thread
Here's how you do it. 1. Start a small store, sell clone guns and higher end guns. 2. Get recognized by the local community, sponsor events, donate raffle prizes. 3. Expand to a larger store, develop online store to handle larger amounts of orders. 4. Purchase warehouse. Use it for storing and shipping products. 5. Once you're making a good amount of money, invest in a machine shop, build inside warehouse. Probably looking at a 5-10 year plan right there.

Factories sell AEGs to distributors by the thousands, EG they have to buy two fucking thousand JG G36c's if they want to get their grubby asian paws on them.
My attempt, making it from a quick prototype perspective just to test the mechanics of it. All the fancy body work can be done in later versions. My handwriting sucks.
I would actually love to start an airsoft business that makes game guns and the like, in addition to Russian replica equipment and sights. I would just love to start any kind of airsoft business in general.
Also make guns that nobody else makes. There are quite a few Russian guns that people would pay good money for.
Can I be the guy that doesn't actually do anything but oogle over all the gear and guns?
Can I be the guy that doesn't actually do anything but oogle over all the gear and guns?
Damn it I wanted that job >:(
I want to be the salesman guy/ guy who goes around and advertises stuff.
That looks more back heavy than a normal bullpup.
Compared to, say, an SA80? Bullpups are always ridiculously back heavy, you just need to brace properly against the stock, so that the gun is cradled in your arm when you fire.

What brand makes that AK Kawaii?
CYMA
Your front sight is perplexing
Your front sight is perplexing
Why?
Why?
I thought it was an AK-74, then I realized it was an AK-104. Not perplexing anymore :v:
Compared to, say, an SA80? Bullpups are always ridiculously back heavy, you just need to brace properly against the stock, so that the gun is cradled in your arm when you fire.
uhm no, most bullpups are actually pretty balanced.
I thought it was an AK-74, then I realized it was an AK-102. Not perplexing anymore :v:
Fixed. That's why I'm able to put a NATO suppressor on it and be awwrite (yes their the same thing externally)
uhm no, most bullpups are actually pretty balanced.
Right, that 12 inches of barrel on the front of SA-80 definitely makes up for the weight of all the internals, most of the body, and magazine+ammunition. And thus there is no reason why bullpups haven't been widely adopted by all the world's armies. Makes perfect sense.
That looks more back heavy than a normal bullpup. Any way to counterbalance the weight?
The front end of a SR25 is pretty front heavy to begin with, especially with the suppressor attached. If I wanted to lighten up the back, I'd build a custom body from the ground up. No using the existing SR25 metal body and additional sheet metal. As I said, it's a prototype.
Right, that 12 inches of barrel on the front of SA-80 definitely makes up for the weight of all the internals, most of the body, and magazine+ammunition. Makes perfect sense.
well i mean relatively balanced, i mean of course they're going to be off center, since the entire trigger group and shit is in the back. But it's not necessarily all that bad either, since the front is now lighter, it's quicker to maneuver since all the inertia is in the back, where it's shouldered anyway. and the balance isn't the biggest concern with bullpups. there's a lot more things to be concerened about, like how the trigger pull requires long linkages, and therefore a more complicated design. plus, the ejection port is in an awkward spot for off-hand shooting and especially for left-handed operators. also because switching to a bulpup would require re-training the soldiers and instructors, since it becomes a completely different platform and operation. it's also just a LOT more complicated to strip and repair a bullpup.
The biggest problem I've had with firing bullpups is that recoil is nigh-uncontrollable. Unlike with a conventional rifle, you don't have 2/3 of the internals and the magazine in front of your hand to keep the barrel down. Even single fire is a pain in the ass with the SA80 family or the AUG. More modern bullpups like the F2000 I've heard are better, but it's still an engineering challenge to build a bullpup that doesn't compromise shooting characteristics, ease of maintenance, and usability in favor of being a foot shorter.
and its also loud as fuck even in airsoft since your ear is right on the chamber

Alright, FINALLY got around to working on the bullpup. we got the gun working now, we had to expand the motor intake, so it actually works now. Me and my dad talked about the material of the new body, and we factored out wood, in favor a plastic or even molding some carbon fiber or fiberglass.
That's awesome that you and your dad do that.
What do I need to do/get to get a silencer like that for my AK-74? I've been looking around, but I don't know what I am looking for.
That's awesome that you and your dad do that.
Thanks, we're actually pretty new to it, it started out as making homemade racing parts for his motorcycle and now whenever we do anything we consider using fiberglass or carbon fiber.
