That RK-10 isn't the steel version, What this means is be 100% careful about that stock. It will break as Dboy's wasn't around enough to release another version that fixes that issue.
Is it strange that a Bakelite AK-74 magazine fits better in my AK-47 than the 47 mag it came with?
No thats china for you
:v:
I like these bakelite mags.
it's a 47 use 47 mags, Besides 47 mags look cooler then 74 bakelites
The 74 Bakelites are so much sexier than the metal 47 mags.
Of course, that's just my opinion.
I like Bakelites in 74u's and some AKMs and 74s. But in the original 47 (my favorite) you just gotta have normal metal ones.

One that, someone with the opposite opinion, will never understand.
I like the orange-y bakelites and the plum ones are nice too.
Well, I can't even fit the AK-47 mags in my pouches that well, and I'm planning to eventually convert the gun into an AK-74.. So Bakelite 74's are my best option.
Convert it :psyduck:
The two aren't that much different.
Just replacing the furniture, gas block, and flashhider, pretty much.
Now I have no idea how easily it'd be to put together.
You have a G&G so they are compatible with everything Mauri compatible I believe (which is just about everything).
I prefer the 47 cause I think the 74s Flash Hider is too long.

I got the SRC, which is Marui compatible as well, afaik.
I wuv the 74.
74 represent
74un is best varient
Rpk-74
I just like the plain old AK-74.
AK-74M is the best.
Ak-47. Mikhail got it right the first time.

Agreed. Real men use 7.62.
Rpk-74
Goddamnit i'm pissed. WHERE IS MY RPK-74 CYMA PROMISED ME :arghfist::frown:
[editline]08:55PM[/editline]
Agreed. Real men use 7.62.
5.45 Does a lot more damage to human targets, it tumbles a shitload more than 7.62 which just goes straight through. Granted: 7.62 is a fucking huge round that does a lot of damage to structures as far as assault rifle rounds go, but when it comes to killing, 5.45 is better.
But this is airsoft so who cares!
It does more damage to ARMORED targets. See the USs current issues with 5.56 against unarmored targets.
Also, Mikhail has repeatedly disapproved of the use of quote ".22" rounds. AND IF MIKHAIL DISAPPROVES, I DISAPPROVE.
And SRC makes an RPK.
I'm going to add my 2 cents to the 5.45 vs 7.62
5.45 was a round designed to replace the 7.62, improving on damage, accuracy, and recoil. I agree fully that recoil was greatly reduced making rapid firing much easier to do.
The 7.62 will do more damage than a 5.45 could hope to. One 7.62 to an unarmored target will stop them in their tracks. The 5.45 is quite a bit smaller, and no matter what gimmicky stuff you say it can do, the 7.62 still hits harder.
The 7.62 doesn't tumble in it's flight. This should make the gun a lot more accurate than most guns that shoot a bullet that tumbles like the 5.45.
Now there is a reason I like AK-74s more than the AK-47. The bullets are lighter and more compact, allowing for more ammo to be carried without slowing yourself down more. The 5.45 is also a better choice for an assault rifle round in my opinion because assault is the key word in assault rifle. You don't need a laser accurate rifle that blows anything in front of it to pieces. You need something that is great for just about anything, but more focused to frontal assaults.
Also cocks.

The receiver is incorrectly shaped. We're waiting for CYMA's correct RPK.

which has shitty stock tabs which break often and it's all around incorrect, I bet MIKHAIL DISAPPROVES OF IT.

No bullets tumble in flight, just FYI. They would be about as accurate as a musket if they did. They "tumble" after entering the body, but the they to tumble better after hitting body armor.
And you could just put a '74 dust cover on it and be suuupppeerrr close. v:v:v

Really? Shit. Do you have a link to where you found that info? I haven't been able to find a solid review on the gun and I was actually looking at buying one.

The bullet kinda bounces through the barrel causing it to slowly tumble through flight.

The lower reciever is also the wrong shape.

Link to where you heard that?
Because its dead wrong, guns have rifling, which would prevent this bouncing.
