Problem is compatibility. Honestly the only other thing I'm going to be buying for this gun right now are extra mags.
If you keep it the way it is now go with the regular rifle scope. Now if you paint it a different color and replace the heatshield with RIS you can go with the aimpoint.
Ugh, don't slap on more rails on an M14.
Please.
I'd still say go with something that looks like Shughart's M14 from BHD. That shit is sexy.

Ill bet its compatible with RS heat guards, most AEGs are.
The Aimpoint doesn't look bad. The Scope just looks infinitely better...

I didn't say do it, I said if he was going to put the aimpoint on it he should go all the way.
I think the Aimpoint looks better.
If you don't want that brown color on that m14 just get some decent krylon spray paint and work on it one day. I forgot which one it is but there's one that gives it a matte-gun-metal-black.

Eh, still sounds like a dumb idea, tbh.
No offence or anything, but I just really dislike an excess of rails.

Krylon makes a matte series of paint for camouflaging, It's pretty good shit.
I actually kinda like the aimpoint on it.

I dislike rails just about anywhere, scope mounts are about as tactical as I get.
Haha, yeah, I agree. I pretty much only need one rail/mount on top of the reciever, for optics.
I don't mind the RIS handguards on M4/M16's though, that's my one exception.

After a while I might repaint my 1911 because the original paint comes off pretty easily. I'd just need to learn the odds and ends of it first so I can safely disassemble and reassemble it correctly.
The 1911 is actually somewhat simple to strip, as with most handguns. Just re-assembly is kind of a pain, since most of the assembly is done within the frame/slide.
Not sure how applicable that is to airsoft guns though, I'm sure it's somewhat similar.

The slide is super easy to strip, and remove the barrel/hopup and other functions. It's going to be removing the stuff inside the grip that will be a feat.

Yeah, I don't think removing the trigger assembly and slide catch is going to be too easy. Usually you'd just remove the components in the slide, if you were cleaning the barrel and doing the routine maintenance.
I'm sure there's videos or articles on how to do it properly. I doubt the dis-assembly is going to be hard, but re-assembling it might be a bitch.
Haha let's hope I don't fuck it up :v: But I guess I need to learn my gun better than I know my own penis.
I doubt you will fuck up. At least, permanently fuck it up. :v:
I took apart my GBB M9 a couple years ago, dissambled it fine. Took me a couple days to figure out how to assemble it again.

Wouldn't bother taking out the trigger mech. Just cover the internal parts with tape and paint over it, saves you the grief of putting the parts back in. I've done it that way to paint a pistol and a few rifles.
I was about to ask why he would disassemble it. Tape solves everything.
Except when mom and dad hit each other. :saddowns:
No, wait, it solves that too. :smug:
Courier just came through with my new G&G.

awktajlta why can't they do SCARs right. Sexy gun, but I can't stand the finish on the upper receiver.

Beware, pic is absolutely humongous.
VFC made a pretty good looking SCAR, although the one I saw at Jeff's looked a lot like the L4D2 one.
Which I like.
Got myself a new handgun recently
Here's the box, looks like one for a Hi-Capa right? It even says it on the side.

Wait a second, that's not right.

Whatever, I knew it wasn't a Hi-Capa when I bought it. They specifically told me it was a WE 1911.

So are you happy or glad that it's a hi-capa?
Looks like this:

Hi Capas are sexy IMO. I had a TM Hi Capa 5.1 and it was amazing.
Monopoly :v:
I had to do a presentation on monopolies for school. I used my board for background pictures for the powerpoint. My bed was cluttered and I couldn't be bothered to clear it.
Monopoly is awesome anyway. I got Boardwalk on the first turn a few days ago.

With borrowed Bipod, Optics, and Suppressor, while I'm trying to figure stuff out for my final build. It worked pretty well this way, actually.
