Post Your Guns V2 - General

Solid foam projectiles are good for vehicles because the people inside can hear it, and it's obvious that they are out, but trying to put blast radius rules on nerf footballs doesn't work so well with players on foot. Half of the time they won't see or hear it. I used to think the beehive grenade launchers were stupid, but there is no debating a face full of BBs. Not as useful when trying to shoot into bunkers and such, but still useful in some situations. They are actually really useful when countering ambushes or taking out a group of people when they charge into a compound.

I have a Dboys 74un and it's beautiful. Awesome range too for such a small gun.

I wish someone would make a gas UMP-45. Goddamn that would be awesome. Or even an Mp-5 would be acceptable. There needs to be more gas SMG love.

I'm hoping for more of a "gas in mag" type set up. Anything that bigger than your average TMP, but not quite gas rifles (although the M4 and SCARs are pretty cool in gas, i'm a fan of the SMG myself)

Next gun I'm picking up is either an AK or a Masada.

^Get an A&K Masada :v: No seriously get one. It was the first airsoft AEG that I bought I've used and abused it and after a year it's still going strong.

I'm new to airsoft, and I was pretty stoked to see that Facepunch has a section for it. I'm still getting all my gear, but I've got a JG G36-C and a KWA M9 PTP. You have good gear for starting out. The JG G36 is usually what people here reccomend to newcomers.

Well instead of a pistol you really should've gotten some gear and maybe even enough left over for midcaps, but it's all good. The JG G36 is a good starter gun, afaik.

Well, I'm crazy for the Ar, I love just about everything about it, and I've had some misgivings towards clones.

How good is the Combat Machine? Like I said, the cheaper it is, the sooner I can get it.

So should I get that instead? I don't care which M4, so long as it's reliable and feels real-ish.

Well the Combat Machine is G&G uber polymer, so feeling real-ish is almost lost there.

Could always get a metal body at a later time. Still, the polymer body is pretty strong.

It's strong but there are no plastic M4s.

Yeah, and I did like the feel of the Metal M4 I held.
