It's not anything to do with the actual MagPul content. It's more or less the same as how I view ACU. It doesn't look good with a lot of setups in my opinion. It isn't very useful in most places. Some people can really pull it, though, like Codemonkey.

My M4 has VLTOR stuff on it, but its just for a loadout. I can also use it on real-steel however so it does serve a purpose.

I have to add two more, I like to paint my gun like that because I feel that it adds a sense of "personality" to it or something. Sometimes I change out the things on the magwell, next one's a facepunch logo if I can be assed enough to sit there for an hour and attempt it.

So what do the lines mean or is there no meaning?

Lines represent a kill count. It's pretty obvious. For me though, I take one drop of blood from every person I shoot, and drop it on my crane stock.

I think I would run out of room on my receiver to keep a kill count pretty quickly.

That's just from like two open play days at the field I go to, i'm not exactly what you would call the best and my gun is definitely classed under "shit"

I took off my AUG's kill count.

I don't keep a kill count. Because I'm more occupied with training and shooting people. No time to keep track.

I've killed about seven people, so it's not worth putting it on my gun. Seven THOUSAND

I like the OD/black sort of look with the sling, wood would look reeeal nice though too.

Cybergun is the devil - don't contribute to their coffers. My understanding is that most FAMAS models are crap. Go with something else, you won't regret it (at least, not at much).
