Post Your Guns V2 - General

I'm comfortable with the idea that I may be looking at Codemonkey with his TAR-21 aimed at me eventually, as it is a majestic weapon.

ARES are like Super Models to be honest. They're beautiful on the outside, but on the inside they're almost always a mess. They're really high maintenance. But you get the rights to brag about your ARES externals, just like dating a Super Model.

It sounded more like the original company's attempt to fool customs, not truly "fake." Though I'm beginning to wonder now. My willingness to order from Hong Kong just sank.

Did it come with a little ARES tag on it somewhere?[/QUOTE] came with an ares tag and test shotted by a guy named 'woody' at about 350fps on march 2010 (I'm assuming this is the first batch of PPShs by ares; see the review I posted before, this 'woody' also tested the reviewer's gun); gun itself doesn't have any markings but the box is exactly like this one: [media]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-XpNuWydcE[/media] I'm going to bring the gun to AEX on monday to figure out what the internal problems are, since the gearbox cycles halfway and locks up, forcing me to recock the gun and ejecting bbs; when it shoots though, it's a fucking godsend; the blowback feels great and makes a metallic slapping sound also swapped out the shitty hopup bucking for a systema one :smug:

Last thing you want is your sling to break and send your gun into the ground. Worse would be if you drop the gun and don't notice it.
