Having split color receivers looks terribad IMO.
man i love the worn look that paintjob gives the gun shit looks amazing~ [editline]asd[/editline] also doing a paintjob like the above isn't very hard at all. you just paint in long straight motions diagonally across the gun.
Having split color receivers looks terribad IMO.
Again, it would probably be best not to try it (and that isn't a look that I like on most loadouts except for uber Special Forces and sniper kits). Personally, the split-color doesn't seem all that off. Two-tone has always been an amazing thing to me, especially darker and lighter colors contrasted. Agreed, though, I like it (except for the overly MagPuled part), but it's not my thing.
if you're going tan, go all the way
:colbert: Content. I would do that if I didn't need both woodland and desert loadouts. [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] Paint the whole gun that is. That's really the only artistic thing you can do to an M4 :frown:
That's a fucking short ass handguard/RIS you have there. Also if you have a little paint mixing tip like i do for cans of spraypaint, you could pretty easily make a desert/woodland loadout by mixing colors. Otherwise you could just paint it olive tan and woodland, it'd be ~multi-environment~, while still looking badass.
Dunno what I was thinking at the time of purchase either....
That's a fucking short ass handguard/RIS you have there
Yep. He might just be able to get a foregrip on there. At that point, isn't it just being tacticool for the sake of being tacticool?
What I would do for enough money to spend on a new RIS and a flip up front sight....
[img_thumb]http://i.cubeupload.com/QOvzCe.jpg[/img_thumb]
For an M4, that looks pretty nice. I like it.
Also you should totally paint the frame on your cock tan or olive [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] uhm i meant glock
Mine doesn't look horribly off balance now that I added the rail covers. It's a pretty good mix.
It looks ok... looks a bit flat tbh [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] what sight is that? looks dope~
It's a $50 Walmart CenterPoint red/green dot. Works perfectly. I got it two years ago and I'm still on the original battery. And the pic makes it look a bit flat. It's pretty nice in person.
G4-A5 Dune Knight correct?
Desert Knight. Though Dune Knight sounds more fun...
Also you should totally paint the frame on your cock tan or olive [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] uhm i meant glock
May just be me but I regret getting my Glock with OD furniture. There isn't a massive resale market for them either.
Not a massive resale market? For Glocks in general or just for OD furniture? Either way, wrong. If it's OD you score with CODfags, and if it's a Glock at all it won't be hard to find someone who's interested since they're so rare now. [editline]15th January 2011[/editline] Wait do you just mean the frame doesn't have a big market?
He's right. Few people will want a coloured frame glock, it's just how it is. I dislike coloured frame glocks myself anyway.
True. But there is a market for basically any Glocks that aren't Tokyo Maruis.
True. But there is a market for basically any Glocks that aren't Tokyo Maruis or KSC clones
Fixed.
wow i think OD frame glocks are fucking sex

[editline]15th January 2011[/editline] Wait do you just mean the frame doesn't have a big market?
Maybe it's just me. But from what I can tell, people like black frames on their Glocks. Like everyone at the field were like "Man, is that a Glock!?" and I was like, ":smug:" and they'll handle it and be like. "Ah, it's got an OD receiver." like they were kind of disappointed. [editline]15th January 2011[/editline]
wow [img_thumb]http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_CbwnjooteyI/SL2JKOSzLHI/AAAAAAAASGU/Qg8E6F19FhY/s400/Glock22inOliveDrab.jpg[/img_thumb] i think OD frame glocks are fucking sex
Same exact Glock I have. Glock 23 with OD furniture. KJW.
OD makes everything look better. Except AKs. They should stay black or wood.
Okay, so here we go. In order to get the rail to fit I had to do some work. I wasn't about to throw away a $60 rail so I had to file down the grooves to get it fit snugly against the frame since the grooves on the rail are for a real TAR 21 hand guard they were off center. Afterwards, I had to drill two new holes because I couldn't use the single hole in the center they had. Here are the results: And a Gripod because it's the only foregrip I own right now.
