Probably on their list. I still don't understand why they made the 10/22 at all, unless they're compatible with the real stock kits available.
So, I took another picture. This is the final variation of my rifle now, it's a primary CQB platform since I have my TAR 21 for field. The red dot is the only thing that may chance depending on circumstances if I need it.

Got enough elastic on there? :v:
Generi-
I'm not even going to try. Codemonkey, that is one nice gun. Just curious, why do you leave that ugly red thing on? Kill it dead and your gun will be epic.
You didn't see my last picture did you? I had a elastic handguard and elastic mag retention two.
There are a total of two pieces of elastic on that picture.

You mean the orange tip? Aside from not being motivated enough to pry it off and boil the glue lose I travel to the field and I don't want to spend $50 on gun bags for all my guns. So I just put them on the floor of my truck with the orange tips on. Also helps when I need to sight them in my yard.
I just put my guns in the boxes they came in, those are my gun bags.
[editline]18th January 2011[/editline]
Also, Codemonkey, you missed a hell of a day yesterday
[editline]18th January 2011[/editline]
Fuck it it's tuesday, I mean sunday
That's what I hear. I'll go when I feel motivated enough to brave the cold. I had to work Saturday so I stayed home Sunday.
Also putting the gun in the box would mean taking off all my accessories.

I don't use a gun bag myself, tip or not. Just a huge OD green surplus duffel bag someone gave me years ago.
Leaving them exposed like that is probably a bad idea...

I was able to take my VFC into the shop in it's own box after taking all the "fillings" and stuff out of it (had to ditch the mock suppressor though). Try doing this, and if your box can't be easily hollowed like mine was, you could try carving it out to fit.
I have a gun case which I bought for like $15. We don't use orange tips here in Canada land.
Hi Guys,

Just dropping in to whack a picture of my G&G GR-16 on here a la British Two-Tone paintjob.
Oh...oh my...
Get some Krylon. Obliterate that blasphemous two-tone.

It has to be like that by law.
Without it, he may not be able to play.
No can do, that would be illegal in this country so the only way i can do it is if i were to give it to my friend with a UKARA license and have him paint it.
UK laws are messed up like that.

If you're anything like me, I just wear 1000 gram thinsulate boots with some nice wool socks (I have battery powered ones, so if my boots get cold, i pop a battery in there and boom)
Then, underneath my BDU's, I wear, in order, khaki cargo pants, thickish gym shorts, and then the BDUs.
Then, I just wear a sweatshirt and my ski jacket and that's my upper, of course, you might have different shit then I do, so you might want to wear an undershirt or two.
For gloves, I wear carhart work mitten/fingerless gloves, but I found that my non-mitten hunting gloves work just fine for airsoft, and in the head department, sometimes I wear a balaclava, sometimes just a fur hat or both, but on sunday, I wore nothing, my ears just got a little cold, you'll be moving so you don't need to dress overly warm.

You guys have it good there compared to Canada.
Yeah seems abit like gun running to get ahold of them in Canada from what I've heard, just a little bit degrading to have a two tone paint job. I feel like my manhood is at stake :( haha

In Canada its sort of illegal to play, sort of not. It's in a gray area right now. How much do you guys have to pay compared to American prices?

if the laws on that are anything like the rest of the British laws the spray can will get a longer jail sentence than he will. haha
In Canada its sort of illegal to play, sort of not. It's in a gray area right now. How much do you guys have to pay compared to American prices?
I payed £180 for just the weapon minus the grenade launcher so thats pretty cheap for over here usually runs up to about £250ish so on the current exchange rates for this weapon I've paid $287 (US). Normally say if i bought a KWA M4 instead which is £250 on the dot i would have paid $398 (US).
So the prices are alright at the minute considering everything over here is expensive as, how much have you got to pay up in Canada?
A KWA M4 is $415 here. Generally prices are 1.5 to 2 times the price in the US.
:byodood:

Whatever price the gun is in the US, double it for the Canadian price.
The two-tone thing must suck...that law is bass ackwards.
Yeah you have to REALLY like airsoft if you want to play here.

It is actually the result of British airsofters getting together and getting their government to fix the laws. The two tone law is a good thing. It keeps airsoft safe for underage people and keeps prices reasonable. We would kill for something like that here.
So, let me get this straight. One gun, in Canadaland, is two times higher than its equivalent here in the States? That means I've bought two guns here, for the price of one in Canada.
That's pretty nasty on people's wallets, hope you get paid more out there than we do.

yeah Stupideye's got it right, two tone is part of the VCRA which contrary to popular belief is actually trying to keep airsoft alive in this country. UKARA is the United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association (?) its a massive database of registered airsofters which allows you to buy and own realistic weapons without having them two toned like mine. Really interesting thing its got hardly any involvement with the government its just the airsoft shops themselves monitoring it and updating it. It's quite interesting when you look at it all.
http://www.wolfarmouries.co.uk/airsoft/bb/gun.asp?page=airsoftshop2 this should have it all here if you want to read up on it.

Yeah pretty much. My Dboys 74u was $380 or so, in the US its something around $130 I believe.
I think I love living in the United States
I love Canada except for our stupid gun laws. Are politics are pretty OK (our conservative party is a crazy left wing party there and your republican party is a crazy fascist party here) and free healthcare is awesome.

With all that good stuff though, we cant complain. As long as we keep our head down we'll be fine. I never transport my stuff without orange tips on anyways. Even though they're in a canvas bag lol.
