Bah who gives a shit guys quit arguing and let this thread die you are never going to agree so do what I did and call a truce with him.
I'm pretty sure the guy here uses all his strings. [editline]09:28PM[/editline] It sounds nice, too. Or at least I think so.

I know it's 8, but my point still stands, or even strengthened by their being even more strings than a 'real', 'practical' guitar. Meh, There's not much more to say here anyway. Unless people start bitching about 6 string basses, or giant, Peart-esque drumkits.

They fucking do. I want one so bad it hurts
six string basses rule
Yeah, they're great. I've always been a fan of 5 string basses more though. Something to do with that neck and my hands has never been a good mix. They do sound godly in some bands. Like Cosmogenesis. Amazing band that relies on the bass player a lot.

I mean a 4 string feels alien to me, playing basses scares me
Koяn uses 7 strings
They used to, now they use drop A tuning
They used to, now they use drop A tuning
The only good thing about Korn is their groove, and lyrics. [editline]01:47AM[/editline]
Agreed, they would be hard to master. I think seven strings are going in the wrong direction. Check out that guitar.
I mean, why do you need that extra strings? other than extending your imaginary penis. I can make do with 6, and i have a little trouble coping when shit starts to go down, I just can't understand the advantages of having a 7 string guitar. Discus
The same reason all the little kids go around talking about how big their penis is so they actually think it's big. Please, do, next time you see a guitar with 7 strings, think of the guy thinking "Hey, I've got one more string than you, I am better! MY PEN0R IS BIGRAR!" Then proceed with the swift FACEPUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNCH. Nuff said.

I think he's referring to it only having 5 strings. I like the guitar itself.
