And how exactly do you know heaven is real? Because it says so in your preachy book that has no factual foundation? No. Religion just serves to delude the fact that after we die that's it, there is no after life and no God. We are products of science, that is all.

you are not in a position to say it's the only reason, as you have not experienced a time-line in which there was no religion, you can not be sure that without religion it would not have happened to the same, or an even better level.
The stereotyping of Muslim people is due to the media only covering the stories of radical Islam instead of the larger whole of the religion. If I see a person dressed in the traditional dress of the Muslim religion I do not think "Suicide bomber oh my God" I tend to simply see them as a normal person. A lot of blind hate going around nowadays and the media simply accelerates it.
